Dr. Amnon Barnea, DPM

I was in pain for 3 days, couldn’t sleep. So I tried to call my doctor, the only appointment was in a week! So I went online and saw Walk NYC Podiatry and called, got the appointment that day at 11. Was told to get there 10 minutes early to fill out paper work, which I did. Right after that they took 3 X-rays and then I saw Dr Barnea, who told me step by step what I had and gave his advice for what to do (because of my own medical conditions). He gave me a cortisone shot and a boot, and I was done by 11:30. By around 6 that night I started to feel better and slept through the night without any pain. Dr Barnea is ‘wonderful’ with a great bedside manner! I told my family and friends about him!

Not just a typical podiatrist but someone who is very knowledgeable about body mechanics. My necessary orthotics are the best I’ve had, and his care for every foot problem that you have is professional and caring. His office manager is also always kind and professional.

Fantastic podiatrist. He is by far, the best podiatrist in this city. I have been treated by Dr. Barnea for many years and he is extremely intelligent, professional, and caring. He definitely knows his business. He has treated me for broken bones, in-grown toenails, where he had to remove part of my nail, and even bunion surgery. He is truly of a different caliber! His office is immaculate, and very state-of-the-art, and David, who sits at the front desk, is so very helpful and professional as well. I had been to two other podiatrists in my neighborhood during this pandemic because I did not want to take mass transit and the difference between these drs. and Amnon Barnea was more than obvious.

Can't say enough good things about Dr. Barnea and his staff. I came in with 2 broken bones in my foot. He went out of his way to fully explain my injury, how to treat it, and the recovery process.

Dr. Barnea and the experience at his office are what every other Dr. should strive for. The staff was professional, kind, and welcoming from check in to check out. My appointment was in the middle of the day, and I waited less than 5 minutes before being moved to a room. After being sent to the room, the Dr. was there to perform my procedure within 5 minutes. Dr. Barnea, was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He explained in great detail the cause of my issue and methods for preventing it.

Excellent experience. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Well run office; very punctual with appointments. Wait time was minimal. I was squeezed in last minute due to an emergency and never felt rushed, time was taken to see that I was comfortable and my concerns were addressed. Can't recommend enough.

Dr. Barnea is extremely careful to explain your problem and review all solutions. He is a very good communicator and an extremely knowledgeable podiatrist. His staff is prompt and courteous. Overall, a positive experience.
