Dr. Amjad Nisar, MD

Had an appointment with him in February 2023 advised my child hadn’t received refill for his meds and to have my child’s medication dose changed, was advised it would be ready for pickup, when I called the pharmacy they informed me that the medication would need a PA in order to proceed. I contacted the drs office for 3 weeks advising a PA was needed, pharmacy never received. They too also sent in requests to drs office, nothing… since then, I have called and even sent emails to Dr Nisar and have heard ANYTHING. My child has went nearly 5 months without his medication due to this.

Had a great understanding of autism. Listened to our concerns about medications and our hesitation to medicate. Very knowledgeable. Did not talk down to us as many physicians tend to do.

This guy is overall bad news is just in it for the gobs of money he's making off the pratice. He was not interested in helping my son from trauma caused from cps interference their misunderstandings in turn caused delay in much needed underlying mental health issues which have resurfaced recently. His deminer was that of mockery and duscust an lack of interest in his own profession. He was unclear and suggestive to his client and withheld information without legal grounds which could have threatened his clients life. I would never recommend this person. Especially for parents struggling with children who have been exposed to abuse in the past - this is not the right guy for your fragile family.

Dr. clearly did not read my daughters records before seeing her because he did not have accurate info regarding history, residence or family . Quite unfriendly and did not listen well. Seemed suspicious and accusatory and did not answer questions. Were given an appointment with Dr. Nisar after original doctor left the practice. We both felt as though he seemed irritated to have to see my daughter and acted as if the previous doctor's diagnosis and recommendations were suspect.
