Dr. Amitasha Mann, MD

Dr. Mann listens carefully, and makes good efforts to understand our views and work with them. I have very complicated and unusual health issues, and she tries hard to work with the limitations. She takes the time necessary, without wasting a lot of time, and this helps to keep her on schedule, which is a good thing for all her patients. Most of the time, she shows she cares about me as a person. I appreciate that. Sometimes I think my unusual situation can make her feel that her hands are tied. It is frustrating for doctors in general to deal with patients that are challenging.

I had an unfortunate encounter with Dr. A. Mann that left me extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. From the start, it was clear that she had not taken the time to familiarize herself with my medical history, a fundamental aspect of providing quality healthcare. During my initial appointment with Dr. Mann, she spent less than five minutes with me, displaying a notable lack of professionalism and regard for my concerns. Her behavior was not only rude but also demeaning. I felt disrespected as a patient and found her dismissive attitude deeply unsettling. What frustrated me even more was Dr. Mann's apparent unwillingness to listen attentively to my concerns. When I called her out for not paying proper attention, she became even more agitated. Instead of addressing the issue directly, she only briefly popped her head back into the room before sending her physician assistant (PA) to continue the appointment. This unprofessional conduct only reinforced my initial impression that she lacked genuine interest in providing adequate care. Furthermore, it was evident that Dr. Mann had not made an effort to review my medical history before the appointment. This negligence is unacceptable and reflects poorly on her commitment to patient care. It is the responsibility of healthcare professionals to familiarize themselves with a patient's background in order to make accurate diagnoses and prescribe appropriate treatments. Based on my personal experience, I strongly discourage seeking medical care from Dr. A. Mann. Her unprofessionalism, rudeness, and failure to prioritize patient well-being are clear indicators that she is not someone to trust with your health. In conclusion, my encounter with Dr. A. Mann was a highly disappointing experience. I cannot recommend her to anyone who values compassionate and thorough medical care.

I scheduled an appt with Dr Mann because she is a really good doctor. Unfortunately office staff is less accommodating and does have care for time. When scheduling the appt I confirmed insurance had changed but the. Was advised I cannot be see due to having Medi cal as secondary. You will be turned away from care if this is the case. Please note unless Medicare you will be greatly differently and not receive equal care

Dr. Mann has been my wife and my doctor for about four years. She has always been very concerned about our health, pleasant, friendly, and thorough in our medica, mental, and spiritual needs. She also cares abought each of us. Dr Mann has been with us for the duration of my wife's illness of dementia. She has help us from the beginning to this day. When I have an appointment With Dr. Mann she always asks how Rose, my wife, is doing. We are very pleased and blessed to have her as our doctor. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a doctor.

I wouldn't take my dog to see Dr Mann and I'm not a dog person. She was my mother's doctor for several years. My parents often complained about her rudeness. My mother 83 started experiencing memory loss. In May of 2021 my parents explained a recent episode to Dr Mann. Dr Mann crossed her arms in disgust and stated, "Well I told you you have Alzheimer's but you refused medication." My parents were appalled by her reaction and comment as she never mentioned Alzheimer's to them. Dr Mann then prescribed a medication which caused my mother to have hallucinations. She also referred her to a neurologist. After thorough tests, she was found not to have Alzheimer's. Dr Mann miss diagnosed my mother. My siblings and I were sickened by Dr Mann's treatment to a patient who may have had Alzheimer's. My parents have found another doctor who is compassionate and helpful.

Dr. Mann is wonderful!!! She is very knowledgeable and is willing to research or refer to others if she cannot solve the problem, wait times can be a bit longer but that is because she cares about her patients and does not rush them through the appointment. I am very grateful that Dr. Mann is my doctor and highly recommend her!!!

Dr. Mann has helped me in many ways. When I lost my wife she helped me navigate through that period. She has stayed on top of all my medical issues and always is always very through. I am very pleased with being in her care.

Dr Mann is an amazing doctor!! I always walk in with a list of updates and questions. She is an excellent listener. She has provided me with medical guidance that has truly improved the quality of my life!! I would highly recommend Dr Mann to anyone who would like to work with a doctor who takes the time to listen to you and then gives you feedback and suggestions on reaching your health goals.

Dr. Mann has been our doctor for over 3 years now and we have found her to be repeatedly rushed and impatient when we are scheduled by appointment. She almost always enters the room, half-heartedly greets and then proceeds to talk with us with her back to us while readinf/looking at a computer. She has often scheduled us for referrals for tests with doctors who do not accept our insurance, prescribes medicines that have high co-pays even when generic and doesn't really show a true compassion or interest in us as patients. We are currently actively seeking a new doctors who will take the time to treat us as if we are their only patient when they are working with us.

Dr Mann is very knowledgeable and thorough. Additionally, she is kind and caring, listens to what I say and is very patient with my questions. I appreciate having her as my primary care doctor.

Dr. Mann has been my primary doctor for 3 + years. I find her very through and caring. She really listens, and is very easy to talk to.

Regular follow up for meds and general health. Time was spent with me reviewing blood work results, meds and general concerns. Dr Mann was helpful in helping me improve my overall health. She is very empathetic as well as does a good job answering my concerns.

Mann has been my primary care doctor for over three years .She has excellent interpersonal skills , superior knowledge in the field of medicine .She replies promptly to any concerns in an empathetic manner .Appointments and referrals are given promptly and results are called in as soon as available .She has an excellent trained staff. I highly recommend Dr. Mann without hesitation.

She takes the time to listen to you, and help you with whatever issues you have. Her staff is very accommodating. She never has a problem sending you to see a specialist.
