Dr. Amit Valera, DO

New to Las Vegas. I appreciate the time and efforts Dr. Valera has made to help me while newly going into menopause.

Dr. Valera has been my primary care doctor for about 2 to 2.5 years now and his professional experience is second to none. I normally hate going to doctors but Dr. Valera makes you feel very comfortable and at ease. Would definitely recommend him and his staff to anyone. First rate care from a fantastic doctor.

They told me a week ago, the next appt is 2wks away to see the doctor. After becoming really ill, I went to the hospital and was released with instructions to follow up with my doctor. I called in and the receptionist said she had a appt tomorrow, which would be today. I realized this morning that I wouldn’t be able to make the time, was not sure if they would allow me to be late so I sent a message that I would need to reschedule because I cannot make the time. I soon got an email that said I would be charged $50 for not canceling before 48hrs. I explained that I didn’t make the appt 48hrs ago so it was impossible to cancel by then and if I had a fee for that I wouldn’t go back there. They said “Well you scheduled the appointment and then the next day canceled. There will be that fee due to not having that notice. That is our policy”. It wasn’t even 24hrs since I made the appt, so I decided not to return to that place where they’re concerned more with money not health. Aged Mayo

I got to read this dr reviews before I decided to make a choice. I want to thank people that take their time to eave reviews. I rarely review but I had to. The receptionist, don't remember her name but is so humble and makes you welcome from the get go. Then Dr. Amit. He's the best, his bedside manners are respectful. He gives you all the attention, he spent almost an hour listening to my health concerns. Never was I rushed, he ordered me imaging that I have talked to others Dr's about but none listened. I can't say enough nice things abt this guy, if you want a dr that is patient, listens with manners, just try him. No regrets

My wife was in Mountains Edge Hospital being cared by his nurse TIFFANY WALKER. Anyone would be appalled by the attitude and bedside manner of this woman that works with Dr. Amit Valeta and his group of doctors. Avoid Dr. Valera, his group of doctors, and Mountains Edge Hospital especially if TIFFFANY WALKER is on duty. You hope and pray that your loved ones get the care and attention that they deserve, but TIFFANY WALKER will not only give you and your loves one an attitude, she doesn't care

Dr. Valera is the best! He is very caring and communicable. He made us feel very comfortable for what we were facing. Dr. Valera is very understanding and extremely knowledgeable. I would feel comfortable putting my life in his hands if I had to.

Dr. Valera took care of me for about a month. His abilities and level of care transcend the basic expectations. He talks, listens, and treats you as an equal. His bedside manner, effort to facilitate understanding, and overall care are beyond excellent.
