Dr. Amit Balgude, MD

I was referred to Dr. Balgude after imaging revealed I had two aneurysms. Naturally this was a scary diagnosis. It was apparent he had reviewed my medical information before entering the room and was informed and prepared. He spent more than half an hour explaining my condition, risk factors and recommended treatment in a way that was easy to understand. He also described symptoms to look out for and thoroughly answered my questions. I left feeling reassured that Dr. Balgude was concerned with my well being and had my best interests at heart.

In my MRI report he states there was no previous study available for comparison…. Well actually there is and he left out quite a lot in his report!!!!!!

He was one of the only radiologists to really take the time to listen to my symptoms and carefully explained to me the situation and the available treatments. After our 45 minute appointment I left feeling immense respect for this doctors KNOWLEDGE - he was able to recall relevant research studies that pertained to my rare issue. And he did so in a way that was kind and understandable.I went in there expecting just another doctor that knew nothing about my particular brain problem but he confirmed to me his knowledge by stating specific information about it. If he knew so much about my rare condition then I can't even imagine how much he knows about the more common vascular and artery related procedures.

I saw Dr. Bulgar for what I thought was a pre-op for an angiogram, which was what my doctor referred me to him for. He didn't listen to me at all and was extremely arrogant.
