Lack of interest
The reason for my visit was to get Dr Arora's feedback on test I had for neuropathy at TOC. Arora was supposed to get results from TOC but his office never requested that TOC provide the records. My last visit was a waste of my time. He has one diagnosis for any ailment - you are getting older.

very unprofessional and uncaring
If you have seizures because of epilepsy go to someone else. Aurora is unprofessional and uncaring and does not inform you of anything -because he doesnt know!!! He gave us info that was just wrong and when asked a question about his information he said, “you remind me of my wife”(WHAT?) and proceeded to avoid the question. Have found other much better nuerologists that have disputed what he told us!!! So if you want good care and information to help you care for yourself then dont go to Aurora, you can do so much better.

Avoid Dr. Arora
I've sat on this debating for a few months before coming back to review Dr. Arora. Backstory-I'm 40F, overweight with PCOS since 19 and struggling with new neurological symptoms post-covid. My PCP sent me to Dr Amit Arora and he ran a battery of tests. Came back with 'You're diabetic. Lose some weight and you'll feel better.' Side note-My PCP immediately ran BS tests....not diabetic. Never felt listened to or addressed my concerns. Took one look at me, spent 3 minutes in the room and ran out. I immediately wanted a second opinion. My husband was ticked. Now, I can't get records sent to new doc so we redo most tests out-of-pocket. A year later I have a great new doc, I'm diagnosed with Noctural Frontal Lobe Epilepsy, sleeping better than ever and down 20 lbs so far. He dismissed me as overweight and dramatic, completely missing my actual diagnosis. Avoid Dr Arora.

Building is nice, doctors are not
He told my 18 year old the MRI showed not a concussion but MS. Then proceeded to say to me "don't have hope mom, it puts too much pressure on your son". Unforgivable. The MS related depression is still very bad and my son still references "that first doctor who said not to have hope". The partner said "it's a GREAT time to have MS" when we saw him for first and only visit after MS diagnosis. Forget both of these people if you have any hope.

So far I have had two experiences with doctor Arora. Both have been very satisfactory. He listened to my symptoms and made decisions on what tests to run. After the tests he explained the results and made a plan of action. I can’t thank him enough for his honesty and being no nonsense. I will continue to visit his practice for a long time. His staff has always been professional and friendly as well. Over all 5 star reviews

Knowledgeable. Not very compassionate. If you need the knowledge more than the compassion, see him. If you need both, find someone else.

Dr. Arora is outstanding. He is excellent at explaining what’s going on, offering suggestions for going forward, and great bedside manners. He knows how to relate and talk to my dad, who has moderate dementia. I’m so very happy to have Dr. Arora to assist our family during this time.

First and foremost, Dr Arora is no-nonsense so.... leave your drama for your mama (or your psychiatrist) and you’ll both have a better visit. He’s very methodical and logical as he walks through his process to diagnose. And he talks you through and explains each step as you go. I felt nothing would be missed in my time as a patient there because of his process. Shannon, his nurse practitioner, is the softer side to the visit. She’s so caring and kind; Thorough in her exam. LOVE her!

I was referred to Dr. Arora and the appointment made for me due to black outs. The office was so busy it was standing room only. The paperwork you fill out takes 20 minutes or more. You get back there and he asks why you here and you go on to tell him. He writes things down asks a few questions and says you need to go back here for a test. My appointment was 2:30 it was after 4:00. You go thru office personal area with kid. You find out its EEG test. Paste in hair electrodes don't stay. A Mess!!

I was referred to him from a pain clinic. My visit lasted 10 minutes. Did not address my issues, just stated he would not give me any drugs. In my opinion I was treated as a drug seeker. He did not even look at my last neurology report from 2012. Sad, sad I was dismissed with all my issues unanswered!

Diagnosed me with young onset Parkinson's. Prescribed meds & said return with husband cause there would be questions. Follow up appointment Doc asked if I had thought about why we'd talked about last appt. when I asked what he said starting meds & coming up with a diagnosis. WTH?? When my husband started asking questions he got mad wished us luck & left room. When I asked about meds he said come off them. So he must not be too worried about my condition. A real jerk. Don't waste time!

I would not recommend Dr. Arora. He was good with my parent and I liked him while we were at his office, but if you need to call at other times he doesn't call back nor does his nurse. Even after expressing the urgency of the matter and calling for 4 days, no calls were returned. After discussing this with other friends I discovered the same thing happened to them. When I told Dr. Arora, he said that he had a lot of patients and indicated that he didn't have time for us.
