Dr Ash, his staff, Valley surgical Center
I recently had cataract surgery on December 16, 2024 at Valley surgical center. First, let me tell you the doctors, anesthesiologist, and every staff member I dealt with was top-notch, answered questions, explained thoroughly what they were doing and to me, most importantly, they just visited and put me at ease.I have to start by telling you I am a big baby when it comes to my eyeballs. After meeting with my appointment with Dr. Ash, I found that he was probably one of the easiest people I’ve ever talked to, very knowledgeable, assured, and spent extra time Assuring me . The surgery was quick, painless, and I can’t begin to explain how good my vision is. I’ve worn glasses since I was eight years, old and the day after surgery I read a standard book with no glasses for the first time.if you’re nervous about your eyes or you want a doctor you can talk talk to and who will listen, then I would highly highly recommend Dr. Ash and staff.

Consistently helpful and professional
Dr. Ash has been my family's Ophthalmologist for many years. During this time, Dr. Ash and his staff have consistently displayed their professionalism and fantastic bedside manner. Unfortunately, for most of my son's life he has had twenty - two hundred vision. Once he graduated from college, he felt called to serve in the military, so we decided to have Dr. Ash perform LASIK eye surgery before he left for bootcamp. The procedure went very well. Today, my son has been very successful as a Combat Medic in the Army, with nearly perfect vision. We are so grateful for Dr. Ash's expertise and care!

ALWAYS PROFESSIONAL
I made the mistake of coming 24 hours early for my scheduled appointment. They were so nice to fit me in anyway the weight was not long and all of Dr. Ash’s Technicians and other doctors are very professional friendly and I have always enjoyed my experience here.

Doctor very professional
The doctor was good and very nice with me. Only the lady who made my eye exam disappointed me with her attitude when I told her that I was going to pay from my pocket. She was a little bit mean.

Great Doctor
The staff wasn’t friendly at all. Sorry to say they all looked like they were not very happy. My appointment was for 9:45am and I didn’t get seen until 10:15am. However, the doctor was very friendly, informative, and knowledgeable.

Life Saver
I was misdiagnosed locally for a tumor that was on my optic nerve and causing me to lose my vision in my left eye. Dr. Ash is the only physician in town that took the time to do the tests needed and then recommended that I go to Stanford. Once at Stanford I found out that my breast cancer had returned and had spread to my brain. I had a small tumor on my optic nerve. He saved my life!

Dr Ash is the most wonderful, kind, humble, talented, and skilled physician. Dr Ash suggested and performed eyelid surgery to remove lots of extra skin on my upper eyelid. I’ve had paper cuts that hurt more! Today makes 2 weeks since the 30 minute surgery. I have been released because I healed beautifully. The difference in my before and after is remarkable. I would like to thank Dr Ash for making my vision as good as it can be. I would also like to thank his wonderful staff for always taking good care of me.

I was referred to Doctor Ashrafzadeh from another doctor and after reading the reviews and my appointment experience, I felt confident that my second cataract surgery would be a success. It's too late once you are laying there in surgery to leave however, if I could have, I would have. Dr. Ashrafzadeh was rude, told me to "shut up" because I was complaining about the pain, burning, intense light like from welding and cold water jetted into my eye. Dr. Ashrafzadeh said, "keep both eyes open or it will hurt more", "It's just going to hurt you more". The body just naturally wants to close both eyes if you have broken glass in one, because that is how I felt, the eyes getting the surgery felt like shards of glass stuck in my eye being dragged over the surface. Since I had an I.V. but I'm laying back I felt nothing administered that would calm or alleviate my pain. I was white knuckled laying there, Dr. Ashrafzadeh complained at me the entire time. I would like to believe even an anima
