Dr. Ami Shah, DO

Dr. Shah took care of my family member while they were hospitalized and she answered all of our questions and concerns on a daily basis and provided updates from other consultants. Excellent bedside manner and care.

Dr. Shah is a 3rd year resident Dr. out of Advocate Luthern General Hospital. I made an appointment to see this resident, hoping to get some relief as I struggle with anxiety. I was diagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder 10 years ago. All this resident did was ask me a thousand questions about my health…..Offered no help or medication to treat my condition, all she wanted to do was run tons of useless labs that had already been run in the months of January, February, and March. She also did not understand what “discontinuation syndrome” is…….It’s really sad to see how all these new Dr’s care so little about their patients……..what has happened to the medical field???? I wouldn’t recommend this Dr.
