Visiting physician treating elderly in Adult Foster Homes. Examines patient in public area with other residents present. No communication with family for four months regarding severe heel ulcer, extreme weight loss and decrease or termination of several medications. This physician did not even evaluate weight bearing or ability to walk. He could not give answers to face to face questions. He also had to be asked to weigh patient as well as view her wound.
