Dr. Ameya Hodarkar, MD

I'd been waiting many months to connect with Dr. Hodarkar, and can confidently say the wait was worth it! He took the time to ask me in-depth questions about my medical status, took detailed notes, and were very patient with all of my long-winded explanations. He took his time breaking down the facts with me and offered several paths toward solution. I'm looking forward to my follow-up with him and couldn't be more grateful for the positive experience I had.

Dr. Hodarker, Is a special kind of doctor. He is very patient and explains the issue at hand when reviewing your concerns and reasons for your visit, on a level that you can understand. He listens to your concerns and offers recomendations and solutions for better health and well being. Dr. Hodarkar makes you feel very comfortable during your visit and eagerly welcomes all your questions with answers to help you understand your concerns. Dr. Hodarker's manorism and interest during your visit, mirrors that of a physician that truly enjoys his position in the health care field. Your health and well being is number one and on his top priority list. I am a caregiver. My client is autistic and new to Dr. Hodarkar's office as his patient, January of 2024. My client is part of the special needs spectrum, she's a 37 year old female. I was very impressed with the conversation Dr. Hodarkar had with my client, he was kind, understanding, and soft spoken, explaining on a level my client could comprehend, this made my client feel very happy and respected followed by her full attention to everything Dr. Hodarkar had to say to her with a large smile! I am very happy with Dr. Hodarkar as my clients physician. I'd also like to mention thay all the staff in front office were exstreamly kind and made our visit comfortable. The medical assistants for Dr. Hodarker are sweet and vitals are taken with a smile! I'm happy with our choice in choosing Dr. Hodarkar as our new phycian for my client. Dr. Hodarkar is very kind and patient, he listens to concerns and offers solutions for issues. He is very knowledgeable and makes you feel like you a part of a team in regards to your health and well being.

I have nothing but the highest regard for Dr. Hodarkar. I've seen several other ensdocrinologists in the past, but he is the best. He is very informative and is always willing to take the time to answer questions. With his help and guidance, I have finally been able to get my diabetes under control. Thank you Dr. H.

Dr Hodarkar is an excellent doctor. His bedside manner is extremely kind and caring. He is always on time and yet takes the time you need for your appointment. He always calls me back when I have questions. I highly recommend him to anyone with an Endocrine issue

My experience with Dr Hodarker was the worst I’ve ever had with a medical professional. He was pompous, unwilling to listen to my concerns, and dismissive of me entirely. If I could rate him negative stars, I would.

This guy saved my life! Amazing

I had an unpleasant experience with this doctor when he was working at Lahey Hospital. He had terrible bedside manners. He was very sure of himself and was completely dismissive of info & guidelines set by national institutes, claiming (in some cases) they were mere "suggestions"-Not true. He gave me incorrect information, which was later debunked by specialists from the NIH & credible disease info guides. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
