Very smart MD
Dr Malik has the ability to quickly diagnose situations or problems I’ve presented him with and prescribed exactly the right meds to heal me quickly. He’s fast and almost always on time. I never wait long after I arrive to be seen. If there’s anything he questions in his observations of me, he sends me for tests that are needed to arrive at a good diagnosis. He has always made sure my bloodwork is up-to-date. His nurses Fatima and Erica are the best! Thank you for taking such good care of me, Doctor Malik!

If you aren’t chronically ill I guess he might help but otherwise. Find someone else. Worst Dr. I have ever met. Just because he dresses pretty doesn’t mean he knows what he’s doing.

Dr. Malik has been my physician for many years. I truly believe that he cares about every patient and understands the situation and lifestyles of every patient. He has never judged me nor made me ever feel uncomfortable. I am very proud to have him as my doctor and I hope, he continues to be my physician for the rest of my life Amy Cox

Avoid at all costs.
This Dr is rude and uncaring. If you do not accept his prescriptions without question, it makes him angry. He is not up-to-date on basic treatments. His medical advice is decades old. the office is outdated, the waits ridiculous and the staff less than polite. He is by far the most arrogant and ill-informed I've ever been seen by. Caution flags

A Disgrace to all MDs
This doctor Amer Malik lied to me & discriminated against me, just like his staff did. The final act this practice did to me was to lie yet again and then call my husband names. They claimed a letter from a specialist was missing key language they needed to fill out a form for me to keep my job, but they refused to give me a copy of the letter the specialist sent. I got copy of that letter and the language Malik’s woman “Fatima” said was missing was in fact in the letter. The doctor had what he needed but lied, intentionally, which has cost me my job, my home-he waited until the 11th hour. Malik-your trifles with insurance manipulation which you openly brag about in front of patients.. good luck w that. But with me- You crosse a line, medically, ethically, and in many other ways. And having your receptionist come outside as if high, screaming profanities at my husband and referring to him as a woman actually captures YOUR true character, and hers. Complaints incoming.

I started taking my elderly mother in law to Dr. Malik in Chipley several months ago. I was disappointed in his lack of empathy toward her. He refilled her many medications and addressed potential problems, but he is clearly not cut out for geriatric care! The final straw came when her leg and knee became so swollen she could barely walk . He sent her to ER for possible blood clot and a referral to Marianna Orthopedic. Dr. Malik's office did not call with the test results, Marianna Orthopedic could not see her for 3 months out and my mother in law was left for a month laying in a bed forgotten. When we returned to Dr. Malik's office, he did not take responsibility for the fact that no one had followed up on any of this. It was all my mother in law could do to hobble in the office with her walker. He was brisk, even slightly rude. Although he is knowledgeable, I would not recommend any elderly person to his care.

Best Doctor I have ever had! He listens to you and explains his reasoning very well. He takes time with you and shows genuine concern. What I really love is when he asks "What else are we going to talk about today? Or " What else is happening?" He is also very fast and very thorough. He is Awesome! Love this Man!!
