Dr. Amenze Osa, MD

The doctor came in. She never even looked at me or introduced herself before she called the nurse in and YELLED at her in front of me. She looked at the screens and the testing I had done before I was referred to her. She asked me no questions about myself, my general health, or the diagnosis she came up with. She then prescribed me drops and walked me out to reception. She was also wearing open toe sandals--I know that's really picky but that seemed really unprofessional, especially on top of everything else. I transferred to another doctor, and 3 minutes into that appointment I knew I made the right decision when that doctor told me that the condition I had was likely due to damage from MS and Optic Neuritis. Glad I made the change.

Dr. Osa prescribed eye drops that my eyes were allergic to and caused them to turn bright red. So, she upped the dosage from twice a day to three times a day. My condition worsened and I scheduled surgery. I went to a different doctor for a second opinion and he immediately recognized that I was having an allergic reaction and changed the eye drop prescription. My eyes responded well and my new eye doctor said surgery is a last resort if my eyes were to worsen but at this time it is not deemed necessary. I'm very glad I found a new doctor.

I will not recommend this doctor to even my worst enemy. She does not listen, only wants to hear herself talk, and has that Mrs. know it all type of attitude. She is has horrible bed side manners and if you were looking for someone to help you or your loved one, this one just isn't it.

Dr. Osa examined my eye and explained the result of the cataract surgery. She answered my questions and explained what I should expect going forward. She spent time to insure I was comfortable with my situation.

Dr. Osa is a consummate professional and took the time to visit with me about all of my ongoing issues and provided information and counsel regarding conditions that other doctors had not recognized. I cannot speak highly enough of her skill and “bedside manner”. An absolute joy to work with, very glad I found her.
