Kind, knowledgeable, thorough
I saw Dr.Therrien recently for GI symptoms I have been struggling with for a long time. She was kind, understanding and very thorough, with a clear and streamlined plan for testing and diagnostics. Highly recommend and well worth the wait.

Dr Therrien treats my spouse. After years of chronic pain and gastrointestinal symptoms, my spouse’s condition rapidly deteriorated. They could not eat solid food, had severe pain every time they tried to eat, was sent by ER to the emergency room on a few occasions due to being in such severe pain they couldn’t get off the floor or breathe, and lost over 40 pounds. My spouse had s an rare vascular compression disorder called MALS and Dr Therrien caught it when others were labeling my spouse as drug seeking and a hypochondriac. She took our situation seriously, listened, responded to our frantic calls quickly/with compassion and paved the way for us to get the correct treatment needed. My partner is now 2 weeks post major abdominal surgery and is eating solid foods without pain. Quality of life is much improved. Although my spouse has a long recovery ahead of them, we know they will be ok and their debilitating symptoms are gone. Thank you, Dr Therrien.
