Dr. Amber Samuel, MD

Dr Samuel was my high risk on my first pregnancy. We lost our daughter at 26 weeks due to a rare chromosomal defect. Through a very difficult experience, she was so positive and kind, she showed us true empathy which is very rare from a doctor. She is extremely knowledgeable and full of confidence and grace. We ended up back with her for my second pregnancy. Miraculously, she performed a very risky cervical cerclage at 20 weeks when my cervix unexpectedly failed. The situation was almost not salvageable but she was so confident, and it gave me so much peace. That surgery bought us the few weeks that saved my daughter's life. I ended up going into full out labor 2.5 weeks later and Dr Samuel referred us to a hospital that specializes in saving micropreemies. I ended up giving birth at 23 weeks and now that 1 lb baby is now a 15 month old, 25 lb, PERFECT in every way little girl. She wouldn't be here today if it weren't for Dr Samuel's expertise. Cannot say enough good things about her.

My wife and I had a top-notch, unbeatable experience with Dr. Samuel. This review is long overdue - we had our beautiful, healthy daughter 8 months ago at Methodist in The Woodlands. Dr. Samuel had unlimited patience for my hundreds of questions, shared her own personal experiences with us, and above all else was easy to get in touch with-not just near delivery but throughout the entire process. I can't recommend Dr. Samuel enough. She was a calm, comforting presence throughout and is a wealth of technical knowledge. Her team is also great! If folks are considering Dr Samuel, it will be a wise decision.

She really took care of me and made me very comfortable with having my twins at 29 weeks!

Quiero agradecer a la Dra Amber Samuel y a su equipo de trabajo por toda la atencion que tuvieron durante mi embarazo, debo decir que fue una muy grata experiencia. Su equipo son personas muy amables y cariñosas, ademas de ser muy comprensivas y las citas eran puntuales. Mi caso fue un embarazo de Alto Riesgo y la Dra Samuel se encargo de darle el debido seguimiento, teniendo mucho cuidado de mi y de mi bebé hasta en el momento de la cesaria, es una doctora muy preparada y muy empática. Recomiendo a la Dra Samuel 100%, es la mejor opción.

My husband and I met Dr. Amber Samuel today for the first time and had such a fun anatomy screening. Of course, it was one of the most important appointments we've had thus far, being pregnant with our first at 21 wks. Dr. Amber Samuel (and her tech) made the day even more enjoyable because they showed us pictures of our baby BOY, took time to explain what we were looking at/measuring and they were also genuinely fun to be around while experiencing this incredible gift. Beautiful office!

Great experience so far with Dr. Samuel, she is very nice and answers any and all questions!

Should of written this review a LONG time ago. I LOVE her! She delivered my identical twin boys at 33 weeks and I could not have asked for a better dr. She worked to get my husband home from deployment and was always there when I needed her! Would recommend her to everyone!

She was amazing. She saved my life and my babies life ultimately. She came to the hospital to check on both of us. I loved working with her and felt very secure in her care.

Dr. Samuel is truly the best doctor I have ever been to. And that says a lot. I never take the time to write reviews but she deserves five stars. She is extremely patient, informative and intelligent. My husband and I were very impressed.
