Dr. Amber Robbins, MD

My visit was great, but the amount billed for my procedure was astronomical. I’ve had this procedure previously at a different clinic and was half of the cost, after trying to see how to go about getting insurance to pay more I contacted the office and because I was 3 months post procedure I was told I would have to put a large sum down or they would send me to collections, I don’t have a large sum. Well if you don’t make regular monthly payments I will send you to collections, I was trying to start payments, trying to do the right thing and was being scolded for not being able to pay. Making someone feel bad about not having money is awful! When I told her she was being rude and I was trying to pay she just continued with well your past due. When I asked who I can discuss this inappropriate conversation with she said she’s the manager and will let Dr Robbin’s know. I will never go back.

I went in to see Dr Robbins about a spot on my lower back. She took one look at it and said, 'Yep! That's definitely melanoma!' They took a sample for a biopsy, and meanwhile I waited 3 days for the results, scared out of my mind that I had skin cancer. Long story short, It was not melanoma. Not cancerous at all. What kind of doctor diagnoses something like that before they even get the results??? I spent 3 days praying that I wasn't going to die. So no, I definitely do not recommend Dr Robbins at all. Very unprofessional behavior in my opinion. Hey, Dr Robbins, feel free to contact me and discuss this if you want me to change my review.

Dr. Robbins is very friendly and courteousness and she is not looking for reasons to remove, freeze or cost her patients additional money. She tells you what is a problem that needs to be taken care and what is not a problem. Very honest.
