Dr. Amber Olsen, MD

We have spent the last two days waiting to hear back regarding a cardiology consult or second opinion. All past dealings have been great, but we can seem to get anyone's attention this time.

Dr. Amber Olsen is a true gem! Unfortunately, due to longstanding medical conditions, we've experienced a number of doctors over the years. But this young lady! Professional, knowledgeable, super personality, and confidant. Her staff as well.We highly recommend her if you're seeking a physician. Attentive and caring. She rocks!

I recently found out that I had breast cancer. The hospital people and my OBGyn were not telling me everything and they were slow to respond, if at all. I called my OBGyn 3 times in one week to try and get a referral and never got a call back. I called Dr. Olsen's nurse. They listened to me. They validated my feelings. They got all of my records and got me the appointment that I had been trying to get all week... and she did it in like 3 hours. I'll never deal with NAMC or any doctor associated with them again. The relief that I feel today just knowing that I have an appointment at the cancer clinic I wanted is unbelievable. I still have cancer and I don't know my exact path, but they got me in where I needed to be. I love them for this!

Cannot ever get my refills on medicine called in on time. Changing Doctors

I liked Dr. Olsen, notice I said liked. Her staff leaves something to be desired. Recently the staff failed to call in refills for two medications I take on a daily basis. I ran out after my pharmacist made several attempt to get refills on these medications. I will find a better provider for my health care needs as Dr. Olsens group is interested only in how many patients they can see in an hour. Medical Associates Of The Shoals is just out for the money and patient care is an after thought.

The staff & Dr. Olsen were very welcoming and helpful.
