Dr Niewald, took over for Dr Melissa Mills when she retired. I found her efficient, knowledgeable and patience in my yearly physical. And in follow-up on other testing I had done. Although I have now moved from the Shawnee area I would highly recommend her.

Dr Niewald
I would highly recommend Dr. Niewald to anyone needing an internist. I absolutely love Dr. Niewald. She listens, she’s interested in all of your medical problems not just one specific one. She checks to make certain that you have all of the tests that you need done she reads whatever pass testing you’ve had done. She is the first doctor that I have ever had that you actually feel like she’s listening and she’s concerned about you. Her office staff is very nice as well. Any follow-up questions I have had about testing medicine or a general medical question she always answers no later than the next day. I could not ask for a better doctor. I am 70 years old and most doctors are not that interested in whatever problems you have but Dr. Niewald is interested. Like I said at the beginning I absolutely love Dr. Niewald and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

She does not interact well at all with elderly patients. My 90 year old father who is WWII vet. related his experience to me. He is hard of hearing but has his mind. She was rude and left him feeling as if she didn't like him.
