PA performing unsupervised above qualifications.
Luna, PA, repeatedly dismissed concerns re post surgery, conveyed blatantly false info about existence of medical records. Stated that my surgeon would not be available and there was no permanent MD in the practice. Luna was unable to behave in a professional and constructive way that would resolve my concerns about reparative action on the failed procedure. Instead, Luna stated that somehow this problem that required surgery to remove would now eventually disappear over an indeterminate period of time despite the extensive damage and incomplete removal. This was inappropriate and unsupervised treatment outside the scope of her practice.

NOT THOROUGH
My mother went to see Dr. Luna last year. My mom had a spot on her head that she wanted Dr Luna to take a look at, Dr. Luna took a look at it and said it was ok and that she would take another look when she came back again, she said but don't wear any hairspray. Well I guess Dr. Luna didn't do a thorough check on it because she was more concerned of having to touch my mother's hair sprayed hair - it ended up being skin cancer!! Good going Dr. Luna! If my mother hadn't decided to see another qualified dermatologist this could have gone diagnosed and God knows what could have happened!

Lack luster
I had a visit and was prescribed cream for both my scalp and my forehead. Amber Luna gave me detailed instructions for applying cream to my face. I returned a few weeks later and was scolded for using the cream in my face. Said it is never for the face! She made me feel like a fool. I confronted her and explained she gave detailed instructions. She was rude, dismissive and condescending. She told her assistant that would have been a different cream. Apparently she mis prescribed. I’m lucky I don’t have a serious condition. I will never return to Epiphany. I do not trust her assessment and have scheduled with a completely different provider. I had been a patient of Dr Harville for 20 years before Epiphany took it over. They run people thru like cattle. I have heard good things about her and realize it depends on what mood she is in when she interacts with people.

Dr Luna was very professional in dealing with me. While my symptoms and diagnosis were not very difficult, she still treated me with courtesy and respect. I appreciated her manner and total care for my medical issues.
