She cannot help me, but then tells me i should be ok with my condition because lots of people have it. A waste of time. She doesn't care . No empathy. I thought doctors were supposed to help you. Very disappointed!

My appointment with Dr. Stiteler was extremely frustrating and discouraging. She did not listen to my symptoms or past history. I was referred to her by another office and she essentially referred me back to them. Additionally, she sent me an after visit summary that included nothing but a summary on how to eat better/lose weight because my BMI is .28 in the overweight category. Incredibly disappointing.

Dr. Stiteler is very good at shooting down treatment ideas, but very poor at coming up with them. First, she declined to issue an Rx for a procedure as they may not perform it like she did, then lamented she did not do it all that well (perhaps should consider training - but she may have been dissembling). When I proposed a natural medication, she declined as she didn't believe in it. But when I inquired what exactly was proposed, I was met with a blank stare. Above and beyond. Attention to the smallest of details. I'm not easily impressed with doctors, as I've had the misfortune of meeting too many over the years. Then, in pops someone that you innately trust. From ER to exiting hospital, this Dr. rocks it!

I recently survived a major kidney stone ordeal that lasted over a week. Throughout this nightmare I must have been scoped by a dozen doctors, some of which were extremely unpleasant. On only ONE of these occasions, during the initial diagnosis, the procedure was done so smoothly and effortlessly, by this young resident, that I literally didn't feel a thing. I never saw her again but I need to thank her & acknowledge her grace and poise. She's going to be a great doctor one day soon.
