Terrible discharged me at five weeks one day to virtual primary care. I found out the embryo was not viable at six weeks one day during a ER visit at ten week of pregnancy ( I miscarried at ten weeks). the MOST IMPORTANT takeaway sh discharged A high risk patient to a lower level of car! The VA was not able to schedule community care in a meaningful timeframe and she was not willing to see me for the additional four weeks between her First heart beat appointment (5 weeks) and my first OB appointment ( 10 weeks) .

If I could give ZEROO starts, I would! Amanda is a second rate doctor that does nothing more than try to sell you on expensive procedures that you may not really need!! Thankfully I got a second opinion and learned that I needed surgery, not IUI or IVF. Instead of being honest that she didn't know HOW to do the surgery, she pushed those options as my only hope.

Amanda and her team were very polite and prompt in their response and booking of my appointment. I requested to come in for a consultation and obtain an egg count. I provided my insurance to the intake admin during my initial call and when she ran my insurance, she told me that it was not covered. I was not surprised as family planning is not widely covered. My visit was quick, educational but felt forced and strongly directed towards freezing my eggs. On my way out, I was provided a bill as my insurance provider did not cover this service and I was required to pay out-of-pocket. I paid $265 out-of-pocket at the time of the visit. Shortly after, I received an invoice from RMA for the Patient Obligation portion of the visit amounting to $30. Turns out, the billing team charged my insurance and insurance covered the visit. I have called the billing department approximately 5 times and they refuse to respond or issue a refund for patient over-payment portion. I work in the medical industr

Fantastic - I trust her completely. IVF is like a whole other universe...so you need to be able to trust that your doctor has your best interest in mind. Dr. Skillern is knowledgeable and passionate (which is the best combination for bedside manner when trying to make babies)!

She is awful. Don't waste your time seeing a mediocre doctor that is only willing to take on easy cases to keep her success numbers high.
