Zero Communication/Gave incorrect test results
Terrible "specialist". Amanda threw away stool samples & 5 viles of blood they took while my daughter was under anesthesia and blamed the lab saying the "lab" cancelled them. She gave me incorrect biopsy results. Told me her results where "x" then I found out the biopsy wasn't even done! How can she give a result that wasn't even tested?? I called her every day for 2 weeks while my daughter was throwing up + diarrhea, after 2 weeks she calls back telling me she's tired because she was on call for 7 days. I'm sorry, what? Don't take on patients if you cannot handle it. We have ill children who need prompt care. I will NEVER recommend her.

I appreciate the amount of time she took with my daughter. We came home feeling relieved that we finally found a doctor who had the confidence and knowledge to diagnose her condition. Well worth the wait. She explained the probable causes and course of action in a way that was direct, to the point, & easily understood. She came across as energetic and passionate in what she does. Her staff has a wonderful sense of humor which instantly eased my daughters anxiety (& mine).

Dr. Pope has been amazing with my son. She diagnosed him with Crohn's disease at the age of 16, and has been treating him since. Each time we visit for a checkup she spends a good amount of time with us asking about symptoms, and then explaining next steps. I feel she listens to all of our concerns, and helps us map out a plan for his treatment.

Never talked to me to explain anything after seeing my daughter. The after visit summary paperwork says "discharge instructions given to family" and "family/caregiver verbalized understanding of morgans condition etc..." No Dr., nurse, nobody spoke to me at all. When I inquired about the examination I was met with blank stares and no explanation. According to my daughter there was little to no examination done. Not happy
