Dr. Amanda Healy, MD

Unprofessional nurses and insulting doctor. Have been a patient for 5 years but will not be back. Insisted that I have lost 2 inches in height, but I knew better due to the gym and my PCP. During reviewing my history of vaginal births, she asked 'are you sure?' Like I don't remember? The whole visit was just off.

I have been seeing Dr Healy for probably 10 yrs and love her. She is caring, kind, smart, knowledgeable, thoughtful and requires me to be an active participant in my care. She is well informed and up to date in her field of practice.

Dr.Healy is the best doctor I have ever met. She tries her best to help.

Dr Healey is very knowledgeable about all things in gynecology. She is very easy to talk to and made me feel right at home the first time I met her. She always answers my questions.

I've loved having Dr. Healy as my ObGyn. She really cares for you and makes you feel seen & heard. She always makes sure to ask if we have questions and listens without making us feel like we need to hurry. I've seen her throughout my first pregnancy and look forward to having her as my provider for our future babies!!

Dr. Healy has been my doctor for many years and provided care through both of my pregnancies and deliveries. She is incredibly kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. I trust her completely.

Dr. Healy is amazing! She always listens to my concerns, and finds the best solutions that I’m comfortable with. If I leave a voicemail or message for her, she (or someone from her office) gets back to me in a timely manner. I would recommend her to all of my friends and family.

She is the best, most compassionate doctor. Her style is not to push you in an all knowing way, but to give you the information you need to make informed choices. I really appreciate her practical and reasoned guidance. I cannot imagine having a different obgyn. Truly the best.

This was my daughter's first visit with an OB/Gyn and Amanda took the time needed to make this as positive a first experience as possible. She was kind, thoughtful, non-judgmental and provided a lot of great health education that was needed.

My experience was very good, and I trust Dr. Healy with my health care, although the nurse needs to readjust my vitals as the vitals she comes up with do not line up with what recent numbers I and my PCP had come up with. My ht and wt are wrong and my BP. Perhaps the machines need recalibrating or retraining on new equipment?

She is the best ob/gyn . I’m visiting her for last five years since my first pregnancy. She always gives enough time to her patients to discuss everything with her . Always makes me feel comfortable . No complaints at all ????

Dr. Healy is fabulous. She makes me feel super comfortable from beginning to end. She takes her time explaining answers to my questions. The office staff is always welcoming and professional. Highly recommend Dr. Healy and Dr. Shipman.

Dr. Healy is very caring, gentle and spends time with the patient. She has been aggressive in my treatment. When she thinks there is a need for more specific treatment she recommends a specialist and follows through with that doctor. I would highly recommend her.

Introductory Appointment

Dr. Healy has now been my OB for 3 pregnancies and she’s absolutely wonderful! Not only is she an amazing doctor but she always makes me feel comfortable and supported no matter what. She provides the level of care I desire and allows me to make decisions for myself based on information she provides. She has a very calming demeanor and I always look forward to my office visits with her. I highly recommend her, as well as Women’s Clinic of Johnson County in general. Wonderful practice to be a patient of!
