I have had several visits with the doctor. The treatments I received worked. However, I was never comfortable in the office. Everything the doctor did seemed to be done at 'full speed ahead.' I got the feeling that if she could have worn roller skates so she could move faster she would have.

I was disappointed with the lack of time she spent at our consultation. She didn’t even sit down. She was in and out in minutes. When she did the procedure, again she was in a hurry and left before I even had a chance to ask her a question. I felt like she was too rushed to adequately care about my concerns.

Waited 2 months and drove an hour for an appointment that was a complete waste of time. In scheduling the appointment, I requested an overall exam (especially a particular area) and consultation for cosmetic procedures. The receptionist that scheduled the appointment said that I may also be able to have a few brief treatments that day if time allowed. Arriving at the appointment I found out that my allotted time was 10 minutes and kept receiving the message that they basically didn't have time for me due to being short of staff? I was told that I had to pick if I wanted a spot on my skin looked at (60 seconds) or the cosmetic consultation since there wasn't time for both? Total appointment time provided was not even 10 minutes and I was billed the full office visit charge. I feel that I was completely mislead when scheduling the appointment, and with the exception of 2 of the receptionists, the office was not a friendly environment. I will not be back to this dermatology practice.

Around 5 years ago, she did a mole biopsy. Standard stuff. I told her I was getting sun rashes. I figured it was PMLE and wasn't worried. She doubted my self-diagnosis and recommended I see a rheumatologist. I said I'd think about it. Over several months I developed a new kind of sun rash. I returned to admit she was right and request a rheumatology referral. Then things got weird. She insisted that she had diagnosed me with PMLE (she hadn't) and that my new rash was a sunburn, despite having it nearly 4 months. She ignored the additional symptoms. She scolded me for not buying her sunscreen, accusing me of using subpar, expired products. I literally had to beg and cry for the referral. I asked about vitamin D, since I can't tolerate sunlight. Her nurse told me it wasn't a problem as long as I ate fruits and vegetables. A nurse in a dermatology practice thinks vitamin D comes from veggies. And surprise! It wasn't a sunburn. I have Dermatomyositis.

My husband and I have been going to dr Amanda Fredericks for over 15 years. She is AMAZING , she really takes good care of us ,we tell everyone about her !

I went and saw Dr. Fredricks today. I always wonder if I should go because I'm afraid I'm going to waste her time. I've had skin cancer 2 times. So I overthink things. But she was concerned, we agreed on a treatment and i was very happy. She (and Sam, her nurse) told me if my prescription is to costly to call her back so they can set me up with another option. Sam was great too. Thank you for a very pleasant visit. I will be back. Lol

Dr Friedrichs and staff were amazing! They took the time to listen my needs and made sure all my questions were answered. I highly recommend the practice.
