Dr. Amanda Ficacelli, MD

Every visit we have, in-person or virtual, with Dr. Ficacelli is ALWAYS thorough. She communicates with me as well as my child and doesn’t rush the process. I appreciate that she probably asks, “what else” at least about 5 times during a visit because, thankfully, we rarely see her. She has great bedside manner and is aware right away if my child is nervous that visit.

Dr F has been my son’s pediatrician for 2 years now, and even though we moved to NJ, we keep going to Brooklyn Heights to see her because she is absolutely amazing. She works with incredible nurses and the office staff is great. My son gets very anxious during medical appointments and she makes it fun and whimsical for him, which helps us get through it. On top of that she is very interested and listens very carefully to your concerns, needs. She is very knowledgeable and has a great network of fellow physicians that she refers my son to when needed.

Dr. Ficacelli provides caring and personalized care for our children

Dr. Ficacelli is awesome! She has been my eldest son's provider for about 5 years he is now 12yrs old so it was only natural that when I had my 2nd son in 2021 Dr. Ficacelli became his provider also. She is very thorough, interacts well with my children who both love her and allows parents to raise their concerns which she addresses accordingly. When interacting with her there is a personal touch, you don't keel like "just another patient". She also makes a point to inform parents if what to expect during the current visit and the follow up visit and what milestones your child should be hitting during that period of time. I am very happy with the service we receive at each visit, Dr. Ficacelli is truly an exceptional Provider.

I appreciate her knowledge, and her kindness. I definitely also appreciated her not being pushy at all, good listener, interested in my feedback as a mom and respectful of my family’s health preferences (which is GREAT Plus and a non negotiable for me). She is also very knowledgeable!
