Dr. Lyons is good when she's available. Unfortunately, she's rarely available. It's very hard to get an appointment with her. Two years ago, I tried to get an appointment following an injury but was unable to and met with an associate instead. This year, I wanted to schedule a routine checkup and her calendar was booked for six months. One month ahead of the appointment, I received an email that my appointment had been cancelled. No reason was given. No one called to follow up or reschedule. A few days later, I called the scheduling office to ask what happened. They simply said Dr. Lyons was no longer be available that day. I asked about rescheduling and they told me her next availability was another six months out. I understand doctors need time off, too, but I was extremely disappointed with the manner in which my appointment was cancelled (email without context is inappropriate), the lack of follow up (someone should have called me to reschedule), the unwillingness/inability to accommodate an earlier appointment, and the overall lack of care for my situation. For these reasons, I am no longer working with Dr. Lyons as my primary care provider.

Yes, Dr. Wegner Lyons is always competent, compassionate, and caring. She is a good listener.
