Dr. Amal Tanagho, MD

I recently had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Tanagho, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt welcomed and at ease. The staff was friendly and efficient, which set a positive tone for my visit.Dr. Tanagho took the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly explained the diagnosis and treatment options available. Their approach was both professional and compassionate, making me feel valued as a patient. I appreciated how they encouraged questions and ensured I understood everything before moving forward.Overall, my experience with Dr. Tanagho has been exceptional. I have 2 family members that have gone to this doctor. She is a dangerous pill pusher with no ethics and has no actual care for her patients. If you’re looking for a doctor with wisdom and true knowledge, go somewhere else.

Outgoing message states you will get a callback within 24 hours. 72 hours later and no call back. I am out of critical medication. I find this to be very concerning. No regard to a doctor's oath of "Do No Harm".

Dr. Tanagho has saved my life - many times!!! She is compassionate, understanding, very knowledgeable, excellent listening skills and down right cares! She is frank and to the point, no BS. She never looks at the time because she is too busy listening, she gives me the time I need. Some days she is behind schedule, but I've always understood...if she gives me the time I need, then she is doing the same with previous patients that day. I would rather have her late, then to have her rush me. I have switched standard therapist many times for varies reasons, however, I have never changed my Psychiatric Doctor - Dr. Tanagho. She is my life line...without her in my life, I know I would be sinking with a heavy anchor to the bottom of the sea. If you need help and support, I would totally recommend Dr. Tanagho.

Dr. Tanagho saved my life. She has been there for me ever since I was diagnosed 7 years ago. She is always available. She is so caring and knowledgeable, not too mention passionate. Thank you Dr. T.

I would like to give everyone a bit of feedback about how I felt after a call with the doctor yesterday. I can only say that it was devastating to my well being. I had been seeing her in the past (a couple of years) about my depression and alcoholism. Though, I hadn't seen her recently in about a year and a half and I needed her to fill out a form to continue my life insurance premium waiver. Forms she had filled out for me previously. So I called in yesterday for my first appointment in a while. There are many ways that someone can refuse to do something. The one that I would have chosen is as follows: Rose, I truly empathize with your situation but I do not feel it would be ethical for me to comment on your condition to your insurer since we have not met for a year and a half. Instead Dr. Tanagho began to berate me and make me feel like I was trying to use her. In conclusion, after our 30 minute phone session, I believe Dr. Tanagho was unprofessional and didn't care.

I've been seeing Dr. Tanagho for several years now. She is understanding and compassionate. She has worked with me to find the right treatment for me. She doesn't treat me like I'm "just another patient". I was blessed to find her. It is true that the office staff doesn't always answer the phone but, often, they are calling for insurance verifications, or pulling files for Dr. T. I have always received call back that same day, from staff or Dr. T herself.

I have been going to Dr T for 6 years. I love her. Her new resectinist on the other hand NEVER answers the dam phone. She is soo unusful. The resectinist is the only reason I’m looking for a new doctor

Like others have said here & elsewhere the receptionist is awful. She doesn't clearly answer your questions, the phone almost never gets picked up, and she is terrible at getting prescriptions filled. It's been 4 business days and she has still not sent pre-auth to my insurance so I can get my scrips filled. Dr. Tanagho on the other hand is diligent, listens and answers all your questions.

NO ONE ever answers the phone here and they don't return phone calls! It's extremely frustrating. One time I was running late to an appointment and tried calling 5 times in 10 minutes-still no answer. I dialed as I was running up the stairs (thinking they were gone for the day) but both receptionists were there when I walked in. I told the doctor and she shrugged her shoulders and said "they were probably on the other line." Clearly they were not. Lazy staff. Unprofessional.

Dr. Tanagho has been a godsend. She is smart, and intuitive. She listens and acts quickly. She explains why she is recommending a drug or course of action which helps to set expectations. I had to go through several medications to get to the right one. She was always encouraging and honest about what I would go through...and I got there. She is a very sharp and knowledgeable doctor.

She is a terrible person. Barely speaks English. She should go back to school. Pill pusher

I would never recommend this office to anyone .

Doesn't listen and asks me what medicine I want

The young lady at the front desk was attentive, efficient and very personable. Dr. Tanagho was very professional and helpful. This was a first visit for me.

My daughter saw her and she was was horrible! ..waited two months to get into see her.. she never reviewed chart before ..was referred by her psychologist. Asked her about drug use Was told she used medical marijuana occasionally To sleep or calm her mind. she told her she couldn't help her because She was an addict. She has been upset for weeks Was supposed to have 35 minutes of her time and only got 8 minutes..asked for ? pay back..she refused.. unprofessional hurtful Unethical!!!!

No follow through when there is a problem with a prescription.
