Dr. Alyson Garcia, MD

This wonderful, passionate and caring woman is it. I’ll never find a better Gyno. I’ve been with Dr. Garcia since 2016. She listens to every concern, has never been wrong with any diagnosis of mine and my backbone when I hear bad news. I can not recommend her enough. Thank you for always giving me the best care.

Dr. Garcia is one of the best doctors in Austin! She is so patient and take care of every concern completely! Unlike other doctors that they don't have 'time' to listen to their patients, Dr. Garcia designated time and carefully listened to my every single question/concern! She is very knowledgeable and friendly. Her nurse also was so nice and friendly. Dr. Garcia and her team are all awsome! I would like to wish all the best to her and her great team!

Dr. Garcia is professional, very knowledgeable, she listens to all of my concerns I never feel rushed and such a pleasant person. Dr. Garcia has put me on healthier path that has helped so much. I highly recommend Dr Garcia! Her staff is also professional and friendly.

Best OBGYN I’ve been to yet in Austin. Dr. Garcia is so kind and makes me feel like I’m important and matter. She doesn’t rush out the door like many doctors do. She makes you feel heard.

My only complaint was the hour long wait to see her.

We saw her Twice in 6 month period and had good experience but the last appointment on Tuesday was a nightmare which left my 16 yr old bawling… Dr.Garcia has been treating my daughter for 6 months now for endometriosis and at our last appointment, she suggested we take the surgery route and my girl is in a lot of pain, as a parent I had to ask questions to reassure us of the surgery is right path for us and Dr.Garcia came with one answer “I don’t know” . We were appalled by that and asked again and she goes…”i don’t know if it’s endometriosis either” which was quite confusing and a big blow in the face of my 16y old who is already going with a lot of Health issues. Dr.Garcia was not only an hour and half late to the appointment but also left abdruptly telling us to go seek second opinion . We were shocked at that unprofessional behavior. All I asked was “is Surgery our only route and complications for a 16y old under the knife”. I guess she didn’t like anyone questioning her .

Dr. Garcia and her staff are so helpful and caring. I am so glad I have her as my doctor. Looking forward to more visits with her.

I've seen Dr. Garcia for over 5 years and had my second child with her. She is fantastic! She is a great listener, truly cares about you and your family and makes you feel like a close friend. No issue is too small to discuss with her and her opinions and treatments are based on the most recent research. I typically don't wait very long, but when I do (because babies come at any time of day...), I don't feel rushed through my appointment and truly just don't mind waiting for her because she and her staff are awesome.

I visited Dr. Garcia for the first time & she and her staff were extremely welcoming, calming for my new experience & efficient with my time. I've recommended her already to many people and will definitely use her as my main provider even though I have to travel more than 2 hours to reach her. Highly recommend.

Dr. Garcia has the most wonderful bed side manner. I was a patient at another OBGYN in Austin with my first pregnancy & it was not a good experience. Dr. Garcia has made me feel like she is advocating for me & made sure that I feel comfortable. She has come to every appointment with a plan & a roadmap specific to my needs. I cannot recommend Dr. Garcia enough. You are in great hands with her.

My most recent visit was just a normal annual check up. Although the wait was a little long, I didn’t mind it at all (I know things can get busy so I always plan ahead and make sure to allot a block time for the wait). I’ve been a patient of Dr. Garcia’s for about 4 years now and have no plans to change! She has incredible bedside manner. Each visit, I get more and more comfortable with her. I never feel shamed or judged at all, and I really appreciate that. It can be tough finding doctors you can trust, but I am so happy that I found Dr. Garcia. I highly recommend!
