Dr. Alpa Sanghvi, MD

I live Dr Sanghvi. She takes care of me as if I am her own child. I have severe mania and attention problems. She has kept me out of the hospital since I moved here in 2017. Although some things have not been working out the best, she has taken her time to really look deep into my illness and educate me on how to live with it the best i can. She has looked into so many medications with me and has trial and error but sometimes that is the case when you are bi polar. We have come a long way working with each other trying to manage my fragile illness but she has done an OUTSTANDING job so far. Insurance is accepted and I am happy she is here for me. I would not want to transfer to another physician, as doctor Sanghvi has known me quite awhile now and knows what’s best.

She is incredibly talented and caring- would recommend to anyone!

Dr. Sanghvi and the office staff are great! I have gone several times and they are there to help. I go to an expert because I want to be on the right combination of meds and this has been great for me!

If there were a way to give ZERO stars, this place deserves it. I have left voicemail messages with them twice a week for nearly 2 months and never gotten a single call back. Great psychiatrist! I have been seeing for a couple of years and her practice is in a nice location with friendly staff! I've never before seen a psychiatrist who is so professional and runs on time. I'm very pleased, it's always hard to seek help when you need it but she is very down to earth and makes it easier.

If you are looking for a doctor to just manage your medications and you are not an extremely depressed person, Dr. Sanghvi is great. She is approachable and pleasant and prescribes what she thinks may work, but not necessarily what is best for the patient. I don't recall having a 90 minute new patient sit down with this doctor, this should always happen so the doctor has a good idea of your background. If you suffer from severe depression, you may want to look elsewhere.

Dr. Sanghvi is a wonderful physician. She has the correct combination of strong clinical acumen and a caring personality. She is very approachable and easy to talk to. I would strongly recommend seeing her.

I like the Doctor but her staff is dreadful. It is 3 days since a prescription was suppose to be called in to my insurance company and still no response! On my last call I insisted on speaking to the Doc but all I got was a series of questions that I answered several times.
