Poor Communication
Dismissed from care due to misinformation provided. Medication refills not provided on time. 30 min - 1 hr wait times past scheduled appointment times to be seen. Provider dislikes patients rescheduling appointments but will cancel patient appointments same-day without warning.

My grandma was a patient at the Clinics of North Texas for over 20 years. Dr. Gonzales was supposed to be the physician on call for the Clinics of North Texas the night my grandmother's lungs began filling with fluid. We needed a physician's authorization in order for Hospice to come in and make Grams comfortable. Instead, for several hours, Dr. Gonzales IGNORED REPEATED CALLS FROM THE CLINIC ANSWERING SERVICE while Grams suffered. Dr. Gonzales later claimed she didn't answer the phone because she "had a migraine headache". Thanks to Dr. Gonzales shirking her responsibilities to the Clinics and to its patients, Grams suffered horribly--she gasped, shook, called out anxiously, and struggled to breathe FOR FIVE HOURS until her heart finally gave out. Finally, another Doctor at the Clinics called me back, but it was too late for Grams--she died before Hospice was able to treat her. Dr. Gonzales is an embarrassment to the practice of medicine, an embarrassment to the Clinics of North Texas

She was very very thorough. Explained treatment and tests thoroughly. I was a new patient and she spent an hour taking a History and physical and exam. Out very quickly to the lab upstairs which took all of 15 mins. Would highly recommend her. Her nurse Laura was also very nice and professional. Good experience all around.

Highly recommend to family and friends!! She is extremely friendly, takes her time to find out what's going on and what needs to be treated. She listens patients and lets me ask all the questions that I have. Extremely knowledgable!! I was really glad to find her.
