Dr. Allyson Harroff, MD

Dr. Harroff has a calm demeanor. She is personable and responds to all the questions that a patient asks, and will often go into more detail if necessary. She is knowledgeable and does not seem to hurry the appointment along. I feel that I am in safe hands with Dr. Harroff because she has looked at and compared test results and does not speak exclusively in medical jargon.

Dr. Harroff always wanted to know what is going on. No matter how busy she is, she takes the time to ask questions and wants to know in detail how I feel. If there is anything that I wanted her to know. She is very understanding and cares about the patient. She never feels in a hurry to end the conversation. She is also a good listener and she always makes in a point to ask questions about anything that went on in the previous visit. She explains the treatment in detail to let the patient know what is going on. Her compassion means a lot to me because she really cares . She used to come and visit me when I came for my treatments during chemo infusion times and would ask how it was going. When i was under her care, I had to be admitted in the hospital. She took the time to visit me in the hospital. Her down to earth caring meant a lot to me. Actually her expert knowledge of the treatment plans is why I am alive today. Thanks Dr. Harroff.

I have always had a good experiences at this clinic from the minute I walk in the door. The staff is friendly and professional. I have never had to wait long. Dr. Harroff took time to listen to me and answered all of my questions. She is very knowledgeable, personable and caring.

Dr. Harroff is an outstanding oncologist! I have had CML for the past four years and she has been treating me. She’s a good listener, respectful and compassionate. She always explains my blood work in detail and is honest concerning my issues, especially with the side effects I have concerning the medicine I’m taking.

Dr. Harroff goes over test results. Answers all questions. Goes over treatment(s). Takes her time with you, you do not feel rushed.

Clearly very intelligent, she is also a good listener. Good common sense and reassuring . Listens to your questions and answers them. Highly recommend.

Cancer is stressful and challenging, but Dr Harroff patiently, empathically, and wisely walks you through the prognosis, expectations, and steps to recovery. I can't imagine working through a cancer diagnosis and treatment with better doctor! Her knowledge and experience coupled with her steadfast demeanor and professionalism make her the patient's very best advocate! Thank you, Dr. Harroff!

It was excellent. Discussed problem with an allergic reaction to a medication and we switched to a new one which worked.

Dr Harroff gave me her time and consideration explaining everything in terms I could easily understand.

I love Dr Harroff, she listens. She explains things in a way that I understand. Very knowledgeable. A lot of doctors write you off when you have stage 4 cancer. She doesn't. I still have a life to live, and she agrees.

Dr. Haroff is an oncologist who listens to my concerns, explains tests and results thoroughly, and in underswtandable terms. I may be a retired nurse, but having information presented simply and directly is something I greatly value.

Dr. Harroff has been guiding my cancer treatment for over two years and two surgeries. NEVER ONCE has she wavered, not once. Almost 30 infusions of immunotherapy and I believe, we've bit the evils in their tail and I'm on my way to a lifetime of 'still being here', because of Dr. Harroff and her amazing staff!

Dr Harroff has always been very punctual and very nice to me. She is extremely compassionate, knowledgeable and considerate of my feelings. Dr. Harroff has been following me since I moved to Texas from Louisiana 5 years ago after a second round of breast cancer requiring a mastectomy and axillary lymph node dissection. She has been a great source of reason and information and I feel very well cared for under her watch.
