Dr. Allison Magnuson, MD

Had bronchoscopy. Dr. Magnuson, anesthesiologist visited me before procedure and mentioned her nurse would be in the OR. She never said the nurse would be doing the anesthesia procedure. I ended up in ER 48 post op with severe rib and neck pain due to pulled muscles. My upper lip was swollen and cut. Had 6 bronchoscopies prior to this and never had this kind of problem because anesthesiologists were utilized. When the Dr. tells me the nurse is going to be in the room, that doesn't mean the nurse is doing the procedure - but that is exactly what happened without my consent. Complaint has been registered with SIH.
