I'd been to this office to see the other provider who seemed ok. It's dermatology. I had waited for my insurance to kick in to go back, then drove the 45 minutes to town for visit. She came in to see me with an assistant, not sure who or what she was. I had a weeping sore in a place I cannot see. Not huge, but persistent, wont go away. They both seemed focused on asking me about pain. It's really not painful, I just want it to heal. I'm embarrassed to be intimate. She concluded I sat around too much and needed exercise. $50 please. I exercise. A lot. Very dismissive, not going back. I felt like they may have decided in advance I was med seeking??? Seriously. Just want it to heal.Had some concerns over what I thought were swollen lymph nodes, which she dismissed as fat nodules - (really, in a chain along where the lymph nodes are), and that she would not remove. I never asked that. Worried about lymph issue! Guess derm has just gone all vanity and not medicine.
