Dr. Allen Dupre, MD

As a patient of Dr. Dupre's sincere 1995, I can attest to many challenges women face during their childbearing years, such as cancer-related concerns, perimenopause and menopause, and possible hysterectomy and Dr. Dupre as a surgeon, doctor, and a listener. Dr. Dupre inherited me from the doctor before him who recommended at age 31 a hysterectomy until he discovered I didn't have children. Dr. Dupre helped me with the pre-cancerous scare, guiding me through my first pregnancy with preeclampsia and gestational diabetes. A few years later, he worked with me as I discovered I was pregnant with twins and connected me with a dietician to stay on top of my blood sugar. My second pregnancy was easy and smooth and agreed with my body. Fast-forward a few years, and I began struggling with bleeding between cycles, which he approached with a D & C and then later (about 10) a hysterectomy. I have found him to be a doctor who listens, cares, and sees me as a person, not just a patient.

During my pregnancy, he weight shamed me whenever he saw me for our visits. I even went as far as dieting prior to my visit with him to avoid the shaming. I then saw one of his partners and she figured out I was preeclampsic. How can a gynecologist miss this. I was told by the partner to get on bed rest immediately and in just 2 days I actually went down 10 pounds. Stay away from Dr. Dupre.

I was a patient of Dr. Dupre's for over 20 years. I'm a Mom of four kids. I also had an uterine ablation done almost 2 years ago. I've been in extreme pelvic pain for months. When I called to schedule an appointment because I've had ovarian cysts I was told that they didn't have an appointment for an ultrasound because those are for OB patients. Do they not have regular ultrasound appointments for women over 40? When I went in I saw his NP. I had a hydrosalpinx on my left tube that created an infection in my uterus. I was put on meds for two weeks. Two weeks later I was supposed to see the NP and Dr. Dupre. I still had an infection. I never saw Dr. Dupre and was given a surgery packet and to call the next day to schedule surgery 2 months out. I've felt like I'm in labor again. I had several ovarian cyst burst. I have seen another local dr in the area and will have a hysterectomy next week. Not sure if I could have waited on having surgery 2 months out and dealing with this pain daily.

Dr. Dupre is the best OB/GYN I know!! He is funny, smart and always calm with any discussion we have had to have. He makes me feel as though I am his only patient. I will never see another Dr.

I have been seeing Dr. Dupre for about 10 years now. I never had health issues or aggravations with my girly parts, so when I did it was quite scary. But Dr. Dupre put my mind at ease and I am doing great. Not to mention he has a great bedside manner, and a sense of humor. Hands down he stands out among his peers as one that makes sure his patients know they matter, and his office staff are wonderful. I have never called or gone in that they are not friendly and do all they can to assist me.

I always loved Dr. Dupre and began seeing him about 20 years ago. He helped me through several surgeries from endometriosis, two high risk pregnancies, and then a hysterectomy. I have since had some complications with scar tissue but have been disappointed. I feel like he would rather brush me off to someone else as I am of no importance to him since I am not a money maker for him with being able to have children or endometriosis. His nursing staff has always been a bit snooty.

Excellent Doctor that has a wealth of knowledge as well as compassion. He listens to your every need and takes the time to talk to you. I am extremely pleased- I only wish he could be my general practitioner as well! Superb doctor!

Moved here @ 34 wks pregnant, researched MANY Drs. online, selected Dr. Dupre after reading about his medical background, practice and range of specialty surgeries; felt confident he was the right Dr. for me (possible high risk patient w/ 4th c-section) SO GLAD I DID! He's a great listener, great demeanor, and I knew his extensive surgical background (more than just deliveries) would be perfect incase there were any issues in surgery, but there were none he did a great job! So happy I found him!

THE BEST OBGYN EVER! Dr. Dupree is very kind and actually listens to what you have to say. He is an amazing doctor and would recommend him to anyone.
