Dr. Allan Sutker, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Allan Sutker for 16 years! He has worked on my knees and my shoulders. I trust him completely and drive an hour just to see him. I would recommend him to all my family and friends!

Very knowledgeable, professional, thorough, took time to explain everything and answer my questions.

This facility is the best I’ve visited for treatment. I was lucky enough to have been referred by a former patient. The attention to your care is outstanding. Dr. Sutker did an overall exam and explained his findings in a clear manner. Dr. Sutker suggested ways for preventing future injuries and most importantly, provided treatment to my injury. His demeanor should be the standard for doctors nationwide. I was impressed that Dr. Sutker did not ‘push’ additional treatments; He provided alternatives. Prior places I’ve been to for treatment have always pushing for more costly medical follow ups.

There is nothing more frustrating than spending your day off waiting in a doctor's office. I've been an Intl Crew Member for 35 years and injured my shoulder in clear air turbulence. Thank you for being on time, listening to what I had to ask, looking me in the eyes and genuinely being a very nice guy!! Has tons of experience and this is exactly the kind of doctor I want to see without a doubt. I certainly will be back to see him!!!

After taking a painful fall, I opted to bypass expensive ER care (my accident occurred over the weekend & wasn’t life-threatening) & called Plano Orthopedic & Sports Med., Monday. The receptionist was sympathetic, & quickly informed me that Dr. Allan Sutker had an opening, & could evaluate me that very same morning! Upon arrival, I found a very clean waiting area in which all Covid protocol was being observed & enforced. ALL staff was caring & competent as they helped me fill out forms, prepare for & receive necessary Xrays. Shortly afterwards, Dr. Allan Sutker warmly greeted me with the cold, hard fact that my fall had resulted in a broken clavicle (collar bone). He pointed out the injury site on my clearly displayed scans, & on an anatomically correct, life-size skeleton. My treatment options were clearly presented: I chose the more conservative path of wearing a brace & being re-evaluated in 2 weeks vs. having surgery. I was fitted w/brace & Rx for adequate pain control.

Dr Sutker checked me over and then gave me a conservative plan of treatment. Surgery might be in my future, but it is definitely not the first step.

I started seeing Dr. Sutker approximately 15+ years ago. He has operated on different parts of my body. Each time he has explained what was going to be done in a clear concise way. His in office team are also top notch. I would recommend Dr. Sutker and Plano Orthopedic to anyone.

Dr. Sutker was one of the first doctors in Dallas to care for my husband and my needs! He is up on the latest procedures and it was a pleasure to meet up with him again!
