Had two bunion surgeries performed by Dr. Shoelson. I couldn't be happier with the results. He performed the procedure with a nerve block, leaving me pain free and no need for pain medication. Dr. Shoelson is a dedicated physician, thus, the late calls (after seeing patients during the day) to make sure recovery is coming along well post-surgery.

Dr. Shoelson is the best. Previous comments attributed to his appointment length are unfounded. He spends the time necessary with each patient and makes sure all of your questions are answered. He follows back up with each patient and has a good attention to detail. It is refreshing to see a doctor that puts the patient first!!

He takes way, way, way too long to do anything, does not respect others or their time and spends a lot of time bragging. 30 minute appts can take 3-4 hours (no joke), leaving frustrated nurses late on a Friday night. He will call late at night (9:30pm or later) and early on weekends. He may even not have the tools he needs to even do your procedure, which is his fault, period. Not flexible with his appts or procedures. Seems like he does a good job but overshadowed by being so disrespectful.
