I had been to 4 podiatrists in my life and got no relief for my severe pronation problem while running- then decades ago I met with Dr Sherman and with one custom orthotic I’ve been running completely pain free for years.! He is my go to foot doctor.

Dr. Sherman really listens! He watches patients walk and right away knows how to help them. He makes orthotics, does cold laser and shock wave therapy.

Dr. Sherman treats each patient on an individual basis and is on time with his office visits.He informs you about your conditions and reviews the possible treatment options.He is an expert on laser therapy explaining how it works and the benefits it can provide. He is a specialist in orthotics for your shoes.I've been going to Dr. Sherman for many years and highly recommend him as my Podiatrist.

This is the second time I’ve seen Dr Sherman. The first time was several years ago when I had a bad case of plantar fasciitis. He fixed me up then. I am now being treated for tendinitis in my right foot, and I’m doing much better. Dr Sherman is very knowledgeable about feet issues, and he is very caring and thorough in his practice. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Sherman is treating me for an ankle issue. I saw him 16 yrs ago for a foot issue. He is sincere, he listens to what you tell him and then he examines you and decides a course of action. He is extremely through and very helpful and makes every effort to treat you like your his only patient. He created orthotic inserts for me and has reduced my pain significantly. We made an adjustment today.

Dr Sherman was patient and very knowledgeable treating my daughter who is a collegiate runner. He made custom orthotics and was not satisfied until he got her perfectly fit. He even met us on a Sunday! I highly recommend Dr. Sherman, we're thoroughly impressed!!

I saw him over 2 years ago for Plantar fasciitis. He did not accept any popular health insurances. Only cash. He charged me over $300 for X-rays and some form of vibrator treatment on the feet. No insert provided. My money and time was wasted. Then I saw an Orthopedic who accepted my insurance. He gave me injection and physical therapy. I got relief. He also suggested custom insert which has been helping me.

I had an awful ingrown toenail that Dr. Sherman fixed in one easy visit. He was easy to talk to, described the problem and the solution thoroughly and my situation was instantly improved. He also called me twice to follow up and see how I was doing.

Dr Sherman is a rare gem!!! He listens carefully and truly cares about athletes and all patients. Had me exercising again in 2 wks - after missing out for over 1 year w plantar faschitis !! I can’t express enough gratitude !!

Dr. Sherman has been a tremendous help both with a broken 5th metatarsal in my foot and a second injury with 3 sprained toes. I followed his instructions for home care and made regular office visits for soft cast wraps. Within 6 weeks I was able to walk for two days at Disneyland free of foot pain. He is knowledgeable and committed to his patients to give his very best care. I highly recommend him without question.

I have been seeing Dr. Allan Sherman for a couple of years since being referred by a friend. He is one of those rare doctors who listens attentively, asks clarifying questions, and then develops his treatment plan to my life goals and fitness abilities. Another podiatrist had recommended surgery, with no guarantee as to its outcome. Dr. Sherman helped me not only avoid surgery, but through his orthotics has allowed me to walk pain-free! Much of his treatment plan is wanting to know the goals of his patient. I told him that even though I am not a runner, I am a walker, I still wanted to participate in a half marathon, and some 5 K's and 10 K's. And be pain free! Because of his care, I met those goals, and I continue to add new ones. Whenever I need a little tweak on the othotics, I am able to get into his office quickly. He is one of the few doctors I truly enjoy going to see! He listens. He responds. He tailors his treatment plan to the goals of his patient. He is a life-changer!

I came to Dr Sherman in August with a stress fracture in my shin. I needed to be ready for a half marathon by February and I couldn’t stop getting the stress fractures. Dr Sherman discovered the source of my problems and recommended a different orthotic than the one I had been using. He made them for me, and worked with me for several months making adjustments. Since then, I was able to meet my goal running a half marathon in February, but for the first time in my life I had no shin splints or fractures! Additionally, I have consistently run faster and longer than ever before! Dr. Sherman truly went above and beyond to help me!

I am an avid runner in the Dallas area and Dr. Sherman literally got me back on my feet. I was suffering from severe Achilles tendon issues on both legs and literally stopped running. He spent a full hour with me listening to my issue and watched me run to assess my running form. The custom orthodics he designed for me have been fantastic. There were a few follow up visits with more running form analyses to provide the final tweaks to the orthodics.

Fantastic care and my toe nail is gorgeous, my orthotics are adjusted and my leg pain is gone! Dr Sherman has a lifetime experience as a doctor and as an athlete and I strongly endorse him as a great care provider.

I can't recommend Dr Sherman highly enough. I was referred to him by my chiropractor when she could not resolve the pain I was having in the arch of my foot. My first visit was something I will not forget -- he spent over an hour with me, taking my history, listening carefully to what I was experiencing with the pain, watching me walk, watching me run, taking X-Rays, the works. He and I discussed several options and I decided to go the orthotics route to see if we could resolve the issue without surgery. I have had my orthotics for about a month and I just returned to Dr Sherman for a free follow-up visit. He was not content that my pain was getting better -- he will not rest until I'm pain free. He adjusted the orthotic and it feels even better. I'll be going back for another follow-up soon, but I know that with his careful attention, the issue will be resolved. It has been an absolute pleasure seeing someone who truly listens and clearly cares deeply about my outcome.

I saw Dr. Sherman because a friend's husband uses orthotics made by through Dr. Sherman's office. I have orthotics that are wearing out and the doctor who did them for me 10 years ago is now retired. Dr. Sherman and the maker of the orthotics (whom he has used for years) didn't listen and didn't make anything EVEN CLOSE to my current orthotics. So I spent a lot of time and over $600 for a new pair of useless orthotics that give me lower back, knee and foot pain. REALLY disappointing.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sherman's for about 9 years. I went in initially for a "second opinion". Another doctor was recommending surgery for my foot. Dr. Sherman was extremely professional and gave me his evaluation of my issue and told me how he would treat it without surgery. I chose to go with Dr. Sherman. He has helped me tremendously! Without surgery, he used his expertise to treat my foot and I was soon walking and running again. I continue to go back to him when I have issues and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend Dr. Sherman

I had a very negative experience with Dr. Sherman. First, I was left alone in multiple rooms with him and he made me feel very uncomfortable personally. Second, his treatment of my condition was unhygienic and painful. Third, he billed me inaccurately and shouted angrily at my insurance company when I called them on the phone to verify coverage. My husband returned to his office later to reiterate my negative experience and to tell him I may post a negative review; Dr. Sherman was unapologetic and defensive.

Terrible and a total waste of my time and money. Spent a lot of $ on worrhless orthotics. Don’t go there. Trust me.

Hes very rude. Refused to xray or really examine me- gave me cortisone. Turns out I did not need cortisone - it made my foot worse and I had to go elsewhere for further treatment. He also requested I change to diffent running shoes, which were not the problem.
