I recently had a vitrectomy which was a more involved processed than I anticipated. Dr. Hunter was excellent and I had and have complete trust in his abilities and expertise. The staff at the surgery center in Eugene was also amazing.

Have been seeing Dr Hunter for several years and find him always cheerful and glad to see me, even though I'm a problem child. Even though there's nothing he can do to help my problem at this point, he keeps a careful eye on it to make sure I maintain a status quo and don't get worse.

Dr. Hunter was great. On my part,i didn't ask enough question about what the surgery consisted of,what I'd look like afterwards, the bubble and how long that would stay. I thought it would be like my cateract surgery. I was deeply surprised.

Dr. Hunter is quite possibly the best doctor I’ve ever visited. Even though he’s treating the eyes, he is compassionate and concerned with all aspects of health, listening praise and encouragement whenever possible.

He treated my son with a chronic detachment. Originally, he was referred to another retina doctor but was sent to Dr Hunter because he needed a more complex buckle repair which only a few experts can do, I suppose. Dr Hunter was dressed immaculately, articulate and very kind. He spent a long time answering all our questions. My son is doing so well! I am very grateful that he was sent to Dr Hunter.

Dr Hunter is straight forward and wont waste your time with idle chat: he's probably one of the best chances you have to fix badly messed up eye. he told me what could go wrong with the complicated surgery up front. retinal tears like i had are ugly and you want a bright, current doctor who knows his stuff. as i said, your best chance for getting fixed in the usa is here in eugene.
