Dr. Aliya Kohler, MD

I scheduled with Dr. Koehler for a general exam as some family issues have recently turned up. She was very condescending about family lifestyle choice that caused health issues she spent less than ten minutes examining and wrote me a script for birth control after I had briefly mentioned I had discontinued and was interested in a new one. She never discussed options with me or even told me she prescribed it. Overall-just a very frustrating experience and a waste of my time and money to see her.

Dr Kohler is very nice-however I have had two appointments in the last two weeks and she is an hour behind-the staff never notifies you prior to your visit-super annoying. I sent a message on August 28 on the My Chart an no response a week later.

Dr. Kohler is a great doctor. She caring and is very proactive with my health. The office staff is nice too. I would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Kohler is seemingly unknowledgeable about common conditions such as superficial blood clots and references the internet on the computer in the exam room during treatment. She then billed $200 for an extra-long (45+ minutes) first-time exam. She unnecessarily prescribed an antibiotic for an infection that didn't exist, and then tried to send me to the ER for an ultrasound. Fortunately I refused, and found out later that it would've been a waste of time as the radiology dept. closes at 5 pm.

I went in pretty sure I had a hernia in the groin area. She refused to acknowledge my input and said it was a hip problem. She is not caring or concerned . She did order an ultrasound, which confirmed my suspicions . I do have an Inguinal Hernia. She’s not Henry Ford material, why is she still here! I definetly wouldn’t trust her with my health.

I came to Dr. Kohler as a new patient. Knowing of my weight issues, I came prepared to hear helpful advice. Instead, though, all I received were condescending and rude comments, and she brushed me off to a weight watching app. We did some blood work, and i did find out I was diabetic. Being a patient, I expected her to steer me in the direction of some sort of help. Would you believe that she, in front of me, googled "diabetes" and began reading off websites. Worst "doctor" by far. Won't return.

I would not recommend her. She will tell you as a patient that you are wrong about what feeling in your body. Even if you explain to her the problem she will be rude and tell you that she doesn't believe you. If you are having symptoms she will tell you that it's not true and rush to the next patient. If something is high or not good on your results she will not even contact the patient which is shocking for a doctor not to do. I will never return to her and alert family members no to.

Dr. Kohler and her staff are fantastic. The Dr. Is extremely thorough. Her office staff are both patient and pleasant. Do not arrive early to Dr Kohlers appointments as she takes them as scheduled, not first arrival.

Not responsive to my needs. i must travel by ambulance to the doctor because of an injury from a car accident and it takes time to set that up. My BP was up over the weekend. Monday morning it was 161/101 with a bad headache. i have a history of hypertension and needed medication. When i called her office with this information, Dr. Kohler told me to go off salt for a week. She is no longer my doctor!!!
