I do not recommend 0 out of 10
I waited a year to get an apt with her. I had 5 major health challenges and asked about each one. She dismissed every single question and medical concern that I had. She made fun of the way I dressed. She told me that I should see her daughter as a dietician outside the veteran affairs hospital system. She asked me my nick name and made fun of that too. I was really sick and really needed help but she told me to just get another doctor and when I did go to request another doctor they asked why then said “shes like that with everyone”. They lost my PCP change request 3 times. I had to go to the Hampton VA in person and demand another doctor. I had major injuries that needed addressing and all she was doing was enjoying bullying me at my own doctors apt. It was beyond bad bed side manner it was a break in the Hippocratic oath. She was dismissive, sarcastic, mean, cruel, unprofessional, unhelpful and she made my healing journey impossible. 0 out of 10 do not recommend.

You will Be Missed
Dr. Lex Has been my doctor for over 5 years, she has been excellent in her manor, and helpful in her guidance. She has treated me with the upmost respect and Kindness, she will be retiring soon, and I want to let her know that her treating me and advice has made, all the difference in my world. Good luck Dr. Lex

The worst bedside manner. Would not listen to concerns. Does not look into your past history and talks down to you. I would NEVER recommend this doctor

Dr. Lex listened to me. She answered my questions. Most of all she has been very supportive due a very difficult time in my life as my daughter has brain cancer. I also talked one of my friends into seeing Dr. Lex and her recommendations were very helpful as my friend sought the assistance she needed. Dianne Towler

Dr. Lex has been my PCP for the past 4 or 5 years. I am very sad to hear that she will be leaving the practice. She has been a great doctor for me, my family and our circle of friends. She has always spent the right level of time with me and has provided exceptional care. We are sorry to see her go.

Dr. Lex made me feel like the questions I was asking were dumb, which made me feel stupid for asking them.I felt like she didn't care or want to help with my issue. Ive been going to Princess Anne Medical Associates for over 6 years and love the office and staff this is my first concern with a doctor. no one should feel like this when asking a question especially from a doctor and its concerning your health.

Did not listen to my concerns, spoke down to me, sarcastic, and certainly did not want to help me feel better. Walked out the door as I was still trying to ask questions. Spent about 4 minutes with me.

After having six surgeries over the years comprising of dozens of appointments with various doctors my experience with Dr Lex was the worst experience by far. She did not perform an exam or listen. She was sarcastic, dismissive and spent about three minutes with me. I will immediately be seeking a new PCP. She was ugly before but I thought maybe she was having a bad day but apparently she is just ugly on the inside. Sad when you don't feel well, go to the doctor and get treated like rubbish.

I have never been so disappointed in Healthcare - I scheduled a appt. for a Annual Physical. At check in I mentioned my heel hurting. I left with nothing but a x-ray of my heel. No labs etc. Taking time off of work isn't something I do often so when I do I plan all my appts. to take care of at once. So today, months later I call back to schedule a appt. for my physical on a upcoming day off. Before she even checked I was informed she schedules a year in advance. Just wow.
