Dr. Alison Escalante, MD

Dr. Escalante is my children’s pediatrician. We moved from another state where my children were seen for many years. We briefly saw another doctor in the practice but switched to Dr. Escalante after a sick visit because of her warm, caring and empathetic bedside manner. She sees my oldest child for mental health issues, in addition to routine pediatric needs. Dr. Escalante always sees us and hears us. I know she cares greatly about my child and she always gives her undivided attention for our visits. Through her care and recommendations, my child is finally getting much needed help academically, as well. My child appreciates the way Dr. Escalante speaks & feels heard by her. I would highly recommend anyone looking for an empathetic pediatrician with very high emotional intelligence to seek out her care. I am so glad she is in our corner.

We met Dr. Escalante at the hospital when my son was born and she was the most attentive and calming doctor we saw. I knew she would be our doctor going forward. Since then, I have not been disappointed. She is caring, attentive, thorough, and a great listener. She really treats the whole family. She always listens to all my concerns and takes the time to answer all my questions. She also takes the time to explain why and I always leave knowing my son was treated with the best care

Simply stated, my husband and I put 100% of our trust into Dr. Escalante as our pediatrician for our 3 kids. Couldn't ask for a better partnership between Mom/Dad and pediatrician!!

She is wonderful. She takes time with each of my children. She answers not only my questions but theirs as well!!! She doesn’t talk down to them. My kids love her

We've been seeing Dr. Escalante since my daughter was born and now she is 18 months old. Dr. Escalante is absolutely very helpful. I like reading new parenting books and articles so I believe Dr. Escalante has the up-to-date philosophy I would agree on. She tried to understand my concerns every time and provided professional suggestions. I would recommend Dr. Escalante to other parents.

Excellent clinician and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend her as a pediatrician!

We have given Dr Escalante a benefit of a doubt for a year until our child's last wellness check. During that year, she would make odd statements like "You don't need teeth to eat food" or "Giving milk to a baby at night may cause diabetes" here and there. However, the last straw was when we got a mail from DMG that we owe $25 co-pay two weeks after our FREE wellness check. I called and emailed to an office several times, but either never got a reply or was lied that a site manager will contact

Dr. Escalante actually listens and tries to understand concerns of the patients and the background they come from - unlike some doctors who are ready with an uptight opinion. She makes my kids super comfortable and tells them important stuff about their bodies. Love going to her!!

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Escalante. We have never had a negative experience. She listens to our concerns and reassures us that things are ok. She is incredibly knowledgeable. She really helped me when my son with little to be ok with giving him formula when I just couldn't produce milk. She didn't make me feel like a failure. I am always able to get an appointment when I need one. She always makes sure all of my questions are answered before leaving. As a nurse myself, I have full trust in this MD

Terrible experience, avoid at all costs if you don't want a crappy experience at your child's visits. Between fake smiles she makes you feel like the worst parent in town about minor stuff like giving an occasional candy or avoiding the flue shots (for personal reasons). She is not kind, she is not clear with the information, she gives you as less information as possible living you confused and disappointed. Definitely finding another pediatrician ASAP.

This was the last straw. My daughter and I were 15 minutes late for her appointment and we were told we had to reschedule. Has anyone ever waited more than 15 minutes to see their doctor? We had never missed or been late prior to this visit. No one seemed to care that is was raining so hard we couldn't see out the windshield. Prior to this occasion, she has been condescending and not able to communicate with the child or parent regarding diagnosis. Find another MD.
