Horrible - gave me a Cystoscopy in her office. Should have been a hospital procedure. Was begging and crying for her to stop. That was several years ago, and now I have terrible Gynecological fear and have not been for an exam for years!

No bedside manner. I needed emergency surgery because of a 9cm ovarian mass. I woke up from surgery and the first thing she said was "we took the ovary" and then walked away. I'm only 26 years old, that was devastating news. When she followed up later she told me they found a 7cm cyst on my right ovary and did no pathology or anything. She said my only options were birth control or hysterectomy. I said no to both and decided to change doctors. The biggest kicker was all the ripping and damage she did to my belly button to remove the ovary. I had back to back Staph infections and it took 4 months in total to heal from it, because she refused to put me on antibitpoics and refused to call wound care until month 3 of my infection. Finally after seeing wound care we came up with a plan and it healed a month later. I have seriously deep scar tissue and now my fiancé and I are racing against the clock to find real care for deep tissue endometriosis. DO NOT GO TO LAHEY FOR ENDOMETRIOSIS!!!!

Dr. Alison we very through in giving me information about my surgery. She gave me all the options available. She gave me time to think about it and options to proceed. She if very direct, which is the type of doctor I prefer. Before my procedure another doctor wanted to give me a test that was unnecessary and she stooped them from doing it. My recovery was quick and follow up was easy.

Alison wanted to preform a life changing operation on me that turns out I did not need. A future ultrasound at another hospital showed the problem was gone and they gave me a clean bill of health. Surgeons just love to cut !! Before Drs go out ripping peoples organs which effect patients lives forever, they better be 100 percent sure they know what the diagnosis is! Not compassionate, rude and no beside manner to boot.Yells at her own staff in front of her patients.! Witness to that.

I was experiencing some issues with my Pap Test results, and was referred to Dr. Dick. She was just great with me explaining what needed to be done. She helped me calm my fears. I think She is just so wonderful.
