Thorough Consultation
Telehealth
I was pleased that Dr. Barron was thorough in her exam. She wanted to be sure what the problem was and went through a series of examinations to find out precisely what we were dealing with. It was also convenient that I was allowed to have TeleHealth consultation since I do not live in San Antonio.

Breast Cancer Counseling, Surgery, and Follow-up
I appreciate Dr. Barron's caring and thorough counseling that she has provided during a difficult time of identifying breast cancer and preparing me for surgery. The surgery was as easy as could be, surrounded by outstanding staff at Methodist Landmark. She called as soon as she received the pathology reports and explained the results. I feel that she has kept me informed every step of the way and provided me the best possible care.

Excellent Care During a Difficult Time
I saw Dr. Barron after being diagnosed for the second time with breast cancer. I was concerned about my options and she took the time to explain my diagnosis and the choices I needed to make moving forward. She was kind and hopeful and I left her office feeling better than when I went in. She also gave me a great recommendation for DIEP flap reconstruction and performed the surgery alongside excellent plastic surgeons.

Dr. Barron has been a fantastic doctor
I was referred to Dr. Barron for breast surgery consultation after an irregular mammogram and breast biopsy. She always very clearly outlined treatment options and also seemed to be on the cutting edge of the industry, sharing insights and new drug options that’d shed learned about at conferences she attended. She did my breast surgery to remove several benign intraductal papillomas. Dr. Barron helped me understand all the benchmark studies and my personal risk factors for developing breast cancer in my lifetime. I felt incredibly well taken care of in Dr. Barron’s care and will be sorry to see her relocate from North Texas.

Fantastic Surgeon
Dr. Barron was my surgeon for my first ever diagnosis of breast cancer and she did two lumpectomies 10 days apart. She was a great communicator, explained everything really well, answered all my questions, really put me at ease and did a terrific job with both surgeries. Several other providers who treated me had wonderful things to say about her, which was quite something given she's fairly new to this area.
