Dr Trotter handled a scary, undiagnosed breathing condition for me. She developed a plan for how we were going to determine what this was , she walked me through all aspects of what this could be, and had referrals to experts for each of the steps. Her breath of knowledge and interest in ensuring I got this problem solved was very, very reassuring and just amazing. I knew she would not stop helping me until we determined what this was. Best doctor ever. Thank you Dr Trotter.

Had Dr. Trotter for years. She was a blessing. Have chronic asthma. Her always up-to-date knowledge and her ability to listen carefully and ask the best follow-up questions of any physician I have ever had make her absolutely superb at assessing and addressing the situation fully. Added to that her calm, kindness and overall genuine concern for your wellbeing are unmatched. I always started to feel better just arriving at her office knowing I was under her care. Back in area and she’ll be one of my first calls.

Dr. Trotter saw my two year old back in the springtime, for what I suspected was an allergy to eggs and nuts that caused severe itching. Dr. trotter did not test my daughter for allergens and instead just recommend we continue exposing her to these suspected allergens to help her grow out of it. This was HORRIBLE advice as she kept having reactions and i made an appointment with a new allergist (which took me approximately six months to get). During that time i stopped exposing my daughter to these allergens because of my mother's instinct. After thorough testing, we have discovered my daughter's peanut, tree nut, and egg allergies are SEVERE. Dr. Trotter's advice without testing literally put my daughter's life at risk.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Trotter for almost 2 decades. She has consistently provided exceptional care, is very knowledgeable in her field, is easy to talk to and takes the time to listen. One of the best doctors I’ve encountered in my lifetime.

Doctor trotter is an incredible doctor who has effectively treated my family and me more times than I can count. The wait time is rather long, but I’m my experience that is because she takes time with each patient and really listens to them and then gives her professional recommendation and answers all questions the patient has. There’s no other doctor I would rather go to in DC for allergy and asthma related illnesses.
