Horrible attending physician for the ER
This is the second time I was admitted in the ER this WEEK. I came again with excruciating upper back pain up to the point where I could not move my upper body at all. I was put on pain medication and sedatives. I got ct scans and mri showed nothing. they took spinal fluid and did so many tests. all negative. The pain I have on my neck is some type of nerve pain. Long story short on day of my discharge I obviously need an excuse from work or school. The doctor gave me an excuse to return with no restriction. I told her I need a couple days to recover. She said I’m walking fine and nothing on the test shows anything wrong, I said of course Im walking fine I’m on drugs but once it wears off when I’m home Im gonna be in pain. She said I shouldn’t be discharged then but she was the one who discharged me.. She stated I have to be readmitted in order for me to get a different excusal. Which is so ignorant. I got a note from another physician because they agreed that what she said is stupid.

Run away if Dr. Werblin is your hospitalist
Unfortunately my wife was assigned Dr. Werblin at Memorial for her in-patient stay with RUQ pain, nausea and vomiting. Dr. W is incompetent and had a horrible bedside manner. Avoid this woman at all costs!

If I could leave a "0" I would. The most incompassionate, nasty, condescending, hateful "medical professional" we have ever dealt with. Just horrible and kicks elderly when they are already down.She is not thorough.... a pure numbers game so she can shove them out the door and take her compensation. Run.....
