I’ve been with Dr. Assefi for about 15 years now. Ever since I was diagnosed with stage III kidney failure. He worked with me and we were very successful at keeping me off of dialysis until I was blessed with a kidney transplant. I did everything he told me to do and after over six years on the awaiting Kidney transplant list I was implanted just in time. I cannot give a high enough rating to Dr. Assefi and his group. I find him to be informative and tell it like it is Doctor who was in my corner the whole way!

Dr. Assefi is a remarkable physician. Not only a skilled nephrologist ,but a compassionate man. He cared for my sister for decades, listened to her, often made her laugh-- and even when her health declined, gave her hope. He understands the concept of quality of life- and made that his goal for her. And when she found out she could not receive a kidney transplant, he understood the loss but made us understand why in the most caring way possible. A VERY good doctor and an excellent human being.

Nightmare doctors office. Location is difficult to get in and out of. Support staff is mostly incompetent. Appointment cancellations without notifications, failures to fill out paperwork for tests/labs, attempts to schedule appointments without consultation, failures to communicate vital procedure information, lack of information regarding hospitals and standard procedures, unreturned phone calls, the list goes on and on. Overall Grade: F - I'd rather lose a kidney than have to deal with th

This doctor is not professional and does not respect his patients. He definitely has a ego and is interested in making money from you proceed with precaution. My personal experience with him was horrible and too long to write a review on.
