Dr. Alfred Chiang, DO

There is no way to describe the disappointment I felt (esp. with 1000 char) when I walked out of my very first appointment with Dr Chiang. Long story short, his employer-My Health Care provider's system failed, and for a variety of reasons in which were incredibly frustrating for me, but despite where this left me, I felt it wasn't relevant enough to be a topic of this visit, or so I thought. It became apparent to me the System was failing him as well judging by the near immediate rant he started. The rant in which had to be assumptions he made on how I ended up there in the condition I was in. It became obvious to me he had not looked at my chart when I finally got a chance to ask him if I had this diagnosis or not, which was when he fell silent! Why? Because he didn't know, he didn't even know the core reason I was there. My recommendation: If you're looking for a professional, team player, to pick-up the pieces where a colleague left off? go elsewhere since he is theexact opposite

I went in with problems dealing with insomnia and excessive daytime sleepiness. His attitude and tone were condescending, and I left there feeling like a scolded child, and with no help to address my concerns other than to use a CPAP machine and to take melatonin. I don't feel like he listened to me at all, and I am now frustrated and stressed out.
