Dr. Cardet did my surgery when I had my injury. I fractured my tib, fib, and the open end of my left leg. I was incapacitated for 3 months , wheelchair , walker to cane in 2011. This all took place at Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles , Louisiana. I normally have my surgeries in Houston but this was an emergency and my angel was this trauma surgeon and I Never had a moment of pain after surgery honestly. As time has passed he said I would need a knee replacement in 5 years but no problems !??

Dr Cardet treated me after my surgery for a closed fracture proximal tibia. Another Dr did the the surgery & I never saw him again. That's how I met Dr Cardet, he was my follow up Dr & I really like him & he took great care of me. After my surgery I had pain under my knee where the surgery was and come to find out one of the 2 screws were too long and it was rubbing against a tendion which caused a great deal of pain. He replaced both screws & now I'm pain free. Thank you Dr Cardet.
