He takes time with each patient. He listens, he answers questions and discusses options. He is kind. His staff is caring too, and I've never been treated rudely. (and they are very busy) The only negative is sometimes you have to wait awhile to see him. But this is because he takes time with each patient, which is a plus. So... I am willing to wait.

This doctor let my Father stay in the Hospital for 35 days. Left everything for the Specialists. Let his cut on his leg get so bad, he had to have major surgery to remove the outside of his calf. Did not put him on any antibiotics and he got a UTI that turned to Sepsis and he later died of Septic Shock. Unless you are totally healthy and just going for regular check ups, STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR. IF THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH YOU, HE WILL DO NOTHING ABOUT IT !!

Wonderful during the covid 19 virus, The staff as well as the Doctor are very careful and I feel safe. He listens and remembers the small things you talk about. He or his staff will get back to you very fast if you have questions. I have a heart condition, valves and bypass done in the past. He keeps a close look and does not hesitate to call or send me to my specialist. I feel safe with his diagnosis. He explains any questions I have and I never feel rushed. A great family doctor. Glad we were accepted into his practice.

Dr Ruiz has been my physician for 25+ years and will continue to be as long as he is in practice. He is a very caring, patient Dr that covers all bases in his treatment plan for each individual patient. I think so highly of him that was finally able to convince my hubby to see him (typical man that never sees a Dr, lol) and he loves him as well. Would never choose to see anyone else. His staff is also very caring, competent and super hard working!

My past and even current experience with Dr Ruiz has been exceptionally good. I would recommend him to anyone, although he asked me to find another Dr because I don’t visit the hospital where he now is affiliated. Medical Center of Trinity is literally 2 miles from my house, in cases of emergency I must go where it is close to me. Bayonet Point and Morton Plant North Bay are beyond 5-7 miles away from me. It pains me to leave Dr Ruiz, he is patient, a good listener, and a thorough doctor. But at his request I must go to another Dr if I can’t get to the hospitals he is affiliated with. But from the standpoint of a patient, he’s an amazing Dr and good bedside manners. I guess it sucks for me.

Way better than most Doctors, explains everything so you can understand what is going on with you health concerns. Very busy, as usual with private practice Doctors. Staff is busy scrambling to get everything done so expect wait times to vary. Also expect delays in answering calls at office. Overall I would say the Doctor Ruiz ( pronounced " Reese" don't know why, is a good Dr. And staff is good and polite.

Dr Ruiz has been my Dr. well over 20 years. He is one of the kindest Dr. you will ever meet. Sits, & listens to everything you have to say. Does not run an assembly line, take his time with every patient & treats you like you are family> I would never use another Primary Care Dr.

This doctor is totally inconsiderate of his patients. He is sarcastic, rude and non sympathetic to his patients needs. His office is poorly run, with the most incompetent staff I have ever dealt with in my 67 years of life. Every detail was missed, and their follow-up on issues is totally non existent. I am further intending to file a formal complaint with the AMA, and State Attorney Generals office. I have requested my medical records three times to no avail.

Dr. Ruiz was mt primary care doctor for over 6 years. He had left the old practice and moved to Pasco. The last year before he moved, he was primary to my wife as well. We have the highest regard for his skill and care. It has always been easy to get in to see him, and he gives full attention to providing top notch care. WE REALLY DO THINK OF HIM AS OUR DOCTOR IN THE FAMILY ! GREAT GUY !
