I was about to turn 66 and was thinking about not waiting any longer to have a facelift. I immediately felt comfortable and confident after my consultation with Dr. Schmidt. She made me feel that I was important to her and always listen to me without feeling rushed. I had no surprises as everything was explained well, very little discomfort and I am extremely happy with the results! My 66 birthday was 6 weeks after my surgery and I decided to go to a casino to celebrate. I was walking through the security area and was told to Stop! I was taken aside and asked to show my ID I said What! The officer said that he was sorry to stop me but I needed to prove that I was over 40. I then said that was a perfect birthday gift! I would highly recommend Dr Schmidt not only for her surgical expertise but also for her caring and thoughtful way that she has with her clients.

Beginning with my initial phone call and correspondence, I was hooked that Mountain Lake was where I was supposed to be. Yet, there aren’t enough words to convey what my experience was like. Dr Schmidt doesn’t set the bar, she IS the bar. Her presence and communication and her innate ability to listen to her patients is off the charts. Seriously off the charts. I had never thought about plastic surgery before, but after breast feeding and losing weight, my breasts were in need of some help. I have been thinking about surgery for a while, my upper lids were very heavy and laying on my lashes. I felt it made me look tired and older than my age. I decided to meet with Dr. Alexandra Schmidt at Blue Water Plastic Surgery Partners. When I first walked in, I noticed the facility was beautiful and the front desk staff were warm and welcoming. The office, it is so private, it is a first-floor office and surgery center with a private back door exit, that has its own parking space just for patients. After being taken to the OR, she soon began my local case, that’s right, I was awake for the surgery. Dr Schmidt gave me a local anesthetic, which I hardly felt. My biggest fear is that it was going to hurt, but there was hardly any pain at all. I could not believe how easy it was, before I knew it the surgery was over and I was on my way home. Dr. Schmidt called me the night of surgery to check on me and saw me again the very next morning. My eye look great and she is awesome

Upon meeting her, I felt totally confident and comfortable in choosing her for my needs The entire staff was very professional and knowledgeable about the procedure. My care person was very impressed with the way they contacted her to let her know the status of the surgery. I wanted to let everyone know about my great experience I had with Dr. Alexandra Schmidt at Blue Water Plastic Surgery Partners. I needed surgery to correct my upper eyelids because they were beginning to impair my vision, so I decided to do something about it. I met with Dr. Schmidt for a consult and was glad I did. She immediately put me at ease while explaining the procedure. She is very personable and has excellent credentials. During the consult she said I would be a great candidate for this type of surgery, and I should see an amazing result. The actual procedure took about an hour and was performed under local anesthesia, right there in their state of the art surgical wing. I was able to drive home after the surgery and was working from home the next day and back into the office the following week. I couldn't believe how easy the whole process was and with little to no pain with the surgery. I am extremely glad that I made the call!
