Best doctor ever. I have had undiagnosed ADD my entire life and in my 50's finally got diagnosed. Dr. Santiago changed my life. It took some trial to get the medication correct but she was very patient and understanding and most importantly took the time to listen to me. Listening is a medical skill that is missing with many doctors today but she is an expert at it. Her knowledge and compassion make her one of the best physicians I have ever met.

Best Physician ever!
In my 56 years I have never had a physician listen to me as much as Dr. Santiago did. Her listening and then understanding has changed my life. God bless her! If you read this thank you, Dr. Santiago! RW Granbury!

By far the best experience I’ve had at the doctor
I have to start with saying that I hate going to the Dr. With most doctors you wait for what seems like forever to see a dr and then after all that waiting you feel like you’re rushed out with a prescription and no explanation about what is going on with your health or body or how what they prescribed is going to help. For the first time in my life I did not feel that way going to see Dr. Santiago. When I got there I was greeted right away by Dr. Santiago herself and walked right to my room. She was patient and listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. She explained to me what was going on and how what she suggested to do was going to be helpful. I never felt rushed or judged or like I was just another patient. This was by far the best experience I have ever had at the doctors. Maybe if all doctors treated their patients this way more people would go to the Dr and get the help they need to stay healthy. Thank you Dr. Santiago for being so amazing.

Extreme confrontational
My visit with her was such a disappointment. I ended having to defend myself instead of her trying to help me. I left the appointment shaking because I was in such shock over her treatment of me.

What an amazing experience with Dr. Santiago! She explained everything so well and guided me through my best options on how to proceed with treatment. Dr. Santiago has a great personality and genuinely cares for my overall health. She is easy to talk to, very accessible, and most importantly takes as much time as I need to make sure I am 100% cared for. I can not wait for her new clinic to open. It's like having my own personal doctor!

Dr.Santiago is wonderful! She took the time to listen to my concerns and made me feel like a top priorty which is rare these days. She works hard for her patients and makes sure they are getting the right treatment. If you are looking for a great primary care doc for your family you will be in great hands with her. She looked at me like I was dumb and beneath her whenever I had a question. Horrible attitude, just seem like she wanted to just get me out of there. For someone who was recently diagnosed with thyroid disease, I needed real professional help, and she was far from that.

Dr. Santiago was my PCP when she was the Modera Clinic - Dr. Santiago was clearly bored during the appointment - I was instructed to fast for blood testing but was told at the end of my appointment no one knew there was a plan for blood testing - She mismanaged my medication and I had to go without for some months while her nurse put off calling the insurance company to request prior authorization. At one point I called daily to request action but none was taken. It took an advocate from my insurance company to resolve the situation. Essentially, I blame both nurse and doctor for withholding medical care that affected my ability to participate in work, school, and home life. Being without medication necessary for daily functioning worsened my mental health as did experience of being repeatedly dismissed by her ver "busy" nurse.

I went to Dr. Santiago to get help with an inflamed and painful lump in the middle of my chest. She had no idea what it was and advised me that I will have to go to an offsite imaging center for an ultra sound. When I left multiple friends, family, and co-workers told me that I needed to call her back and have her prescribe me something for the pain and possible infection. I called her and had to beg for antibiotics. Then it took a week for her specific imaging center to call me to get me scheduled. I went in for the ultra sound and the results were "inconclusive" and determined that my lump was NOT a cyst but a possible lymph node. She then scheduled me to do a CT scan with contrast. A week and a half later (all the while my infection getting worse) I went to get the scan and their IV for the contrast caused my vein to blow. I begged Dr. Santiago to just let me get a normal CT scan. Once I did- they determined it was a cyst. She had me thinking i had cancer for 3 weeks!! HORRIBLE!!

Today was my first visit to Modera Clinic and the office is beautiful, very modern. They offer free wifi and refreshments. The receptionist and Dr. Santiago's nurse were very friendly and prompt. Dr. Santiago is very friendly, listens and takes the time to discuss any concerns. I highly recommend her and the Modera Clinic.
